Possess the Land
But we commend ourselves in every way as (true) servants of God: through great endurance, in tribulation and suffering, in hardships and privations, in sore straits and calamities; in beatings, imprisonments, riots, labors, sleepless watching, hunger; by innocence and purity, knowledge and spiritual insight, long-suffering and patience, kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in unfeigned love; by (speaking) the word of truth, in the power of God, with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand (‘power’ to attack) and for the left hand (‘authority’ to defend); amid honor and dishonor; in defaming and evil report and in praise and good report. (We are branded) as deceivers (imposters), and (yet vindicated as) truthful and honest. (We are treated) as unknown and ignored (by the world), and (yet we are) well-known and recognized (by God and His people); as dying, and yet here we are alive; as chastened by suffering and (yet) not killed; as grieved and mourning, yet (we are) always rejoicing; as poor (ourselves, yet) bestowing riches on many; as having nothing,and (yet, in reality) possessing all things (2 Corinthians 6: 4- 10).
Israel did not just march and blow trumpets in order to conquer Jericho. When the walls fell, they went in, fought, and took the city. The “walls of the city fell” so to speak, when Jesus saw Satan fall as lightening from heaven (Luke 10: 18, 19). “Now the ruler of this world will be cast out” (John 12: 31). BUT, that is not all that has to be done. We are NOW to go in over those fallen walls with the sword of the Word to preach the Gospel and to take that city for God! We are called and placed right where we are in order to GO IN AND POSSESS THE LAND!
However, many of us continue to sit where we are and come up with “rational” to keep us inactive (AWOL) in the present battle that rages about us (see Matthew 8: 19-22). We are content to “let those who are able to go, go; those who are able to do, do; those who are able to give, give; etc.” However, God gave ALL mankind gifts and talents to use in order to expand His kingdom here on earth. He KNEW even before you were born what His assignment for your life would be and He fully equipped you with all you would need to carry out that assignment.
Many of us choose to run or ignore His call on our life and that is bad for those you were called to love, pray for, protect, help, equip, empower, teach, lead, etc.; in fact, those people you were to be there for may well be those who do not yet know Jesus as Lord, or have backslidden because they saw nothing “special” in the Christian way of life. I do believe God will most definately hold each of us accountable for our “UNFINISHED ASSIGNMENT” and for those souls we have forsaken in their hour of need. Our turning aside from God’s call also leaves a hole in the ranks of the advancing army; I may not have someone there to cover me as I storm the wall and I may very well die during the seige; so may many others.
Today and in the days ahead of us; there is and will be a great increase in the enemy’s advance for souls. He is determined that he will take as many with him to hell as possible. His attacks will become more and more aggressive and deadly and we, as the VICTORIOUS army, must come at him with everything God has placed within us individually and corporately, and with all the weapons He has made available to us, trusting Him to be with us every step we take!
We must ALWAYS REMEMBER, that VICTORY IS OURS; we just have to SEE IT and BELIEVE IT! For the (true) love of God is this: That we do His commands (keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching). And these orders of His are not irksome (burdensome, oppressive, or grievious). For whatever is born of God IS VICTORIOUS OVER the world; and this IS the victory that conquers the world, even our faith. WHO is it that is victorious over (that conquers) the world but he (she) who BELIEVES that JESUS IS the Son of God (who adheres to, trusts in, relies on that fact) (1 John 5: 3-6).

And the Lord told me awhile ago that I was armed and dangerous with the word of God, the spirit of God, and the blood of the Lamb. What more do I need???

Prayer Request: August 5th through August 12th 2012
For those that would feel led to fast with us this week for the Honduras church planting movement . We would greatly appreciate it. This is one of the critical elements of a church planting movement. It is one of the most important elements. As we seek the heart of God He will answer. If you feel led to fast just pick a day and fast as you are led of God.
Special prayer request:
Pray for Bro. David Parish. He has been having some serious health problems. He is experiencing blood pressure problems and symptoms. He is adjusting medications and diet, but still having problems. We believe that this is an attack of the enemy against him. Pray that God would rebuke and destroy the working of the enemy. Pray for complete healing and protection.
Also pray for Randy Travis and Keith Travis and their wives Linda and Juanita. All 4 of them have recently had serious health problems. In addition, Beto, one of the key Honduran leaders has health issues as well. One of the attacks that we have found coming against people involved in Church Planting Movements and Disciple Making Movements, is health attacks against the key leaders. Prayer is the key to defeating this attack.
One of our partnering agencies is Final Command Ministries, led by Jerry Trousdale. 2 of their 4 American team members for North Africa are hospitalized with serious problems: malaria and diverticulitis. Another African team member’s wife is hospitalized with complications of pregnancy. Please pray for their recovery.
1. Pray for E and B. They are having health problems. E had an accident and cut his leg with a machine. B has an unknown illness that doctors have not been able to cure. She has been suffering for several years with this.
2. Continue to pray for the Lord to bless P and M with land and a house.
3. Continue to pray for the miracle working power of God to be present in all those who are planting churches in Honduras.
4. Pray for the department (State) of Intibuca. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Pray that the Lord would use Jacobo and Adiel in miraculous ways as they ministers in this area. Pray for an extreme presence of the Holy Spirit in their lives as they minister..
5. Continue to Pray for V and A. Pray for their salvation and health. They are an elderly couple that we long to see come to the Lord.
6. Pray for Mario and Testla as they minister in El Paraiso. Pray for the Holy Spirit to be poured out in their lives. Pray for their church planting efforts to be blessed.
7. Pray for the Pesh Indian tribes of Honduras. Pray that the gospel would penetrate them powerfully.
8. Pray for the Garifuna people group to be reached throughout Central America.
9. Pray for Garland Crowell, one of WME’s board members. His mother, Betty Crowell, went to be with the Lord a few days ago. Pray for all of their family, especially his father, Bill, and sister, Jeanie, during this time for the special comfort of the Holy Spirit.
10. Continue to pray that A and his family would decide to be baptized.
11. Pray for the Bible study group in La Union, Florido, Copan. Pray for its growth and prosperity. Pray that People would be saved. Pray for the Lord to raise up a leader from this group.
12. Pray for some new contacts that have been made recently in Mexico. Pray for the Lord to continue to open up doors for a church planting movement through these contacts.
13. Continue to pray for Trindad, Copan. Pray the Lord would pour out revival.
14. Continue to pray for A . She is a 14 year old orphan. Pray for her protection and salvation.
15. Continue to pray for Wilfredo and his wife. Pray that God would work in them a work that would draw them to faithfulness and that they could become key leaders for Honduras.
16. Continue to pray for the CPM Conference that will be held the middle of August. Pray for those organizing the conference and for those carrying it out. Pray for good attendance and that the Lord would convince those who come of the principles.
17. Continue to pray that all the mega voices and micro sd cards with the Bible studies will arrive in time for a training in August.

You have a large prayer list with many key needs of which the Lord is aware. I was reading in 2 Corinthians and the specific verses 16-18 really jumped out. God’s Word is our reality and we are to stand on it; no matter what the circumstances look like…trusting that the good work He started in and through you will be completed to the honor and glory of His name. As all of us step out in faith; in spite of what it looks like (especially in our LACK) He Will then come alongside us with His assistance at just the right time. I truly believe it is ONLY when we cannot accomplish anything in and of ourselves and yet step out in faith that the step out is the ACTIVATING mechanism God sees and it brings a BIG smile to His face, for then He willingly jumps in to help:) I will be praying for all that you have mentioned KNOWING God is already way ahead of you. I also read that some of the members from Jerry Trousdale’s team have already been released from hospital, PRAISE THE LORD! I pray all of the team with health issues will experience a touch from the Lord and all will be made whole, in Jesus name. God bless one and all.
