Genesis 12: 2-3; 27: 29; Numbers 24: 9 and …“Now the Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and foretold the good news to Abraham, saying, ‘ALL the nations will be blessed in you.’ So, those who have faith are blessed with Abraham who had faith (Galatians 3: 8).
About four thousand years ago God made a choice that has affected all subsequent history. He was looking for a man who would meet His conditions so that he might ultimately become the channel of God’s blessing to all the nations of the world. This man was Abram or Abraham as he was later renamed by God. God’s purpose in choosing Abraham is spoken about in Genesis 12. You will see in these verses that blessing and curse are closely connected.
The four promises of blessing upon Abraham are: “I will bless you.” “You shall be a blessing.” “I will bless those who bless you.” and “In you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” Interposed in the midst of these blessings, is a curse. “I will curse him who curses you.” ANY PERSON on whom God pronounces His blessing will automatically be exposed to the hatred and opposition of Satan. The blessing of God provokes the curse of Satan, channeled through the lips and actions of those Satan controls.
It was for this reason that when God blessed Araham, He added HIS CURSE ON ALL WHO WOULD CURSE ABRAHAM. My friends, this is so very important for you to see and understand. God warns us not to bring any “wayward words/curses” on fellow brothers and sisters, or others (see Titus 3: 1-3). No one could curse Abraham without incurring the curse of God in return. In Genesis 27: 29, when Isaac blessed his son Jacob, he also extended to him the same protection that God originally provided for Abraham, “Cursed be everyone who curses you.”
Later, under divine compulsion, Balaam uttered prophetic revelation of Israel’s destiny, which was exactly OPPOSITE his original intention to curse Israel. Part of the Balaam revelation, recorded in Numbers 24: 9, echoed the words already spoken concerning Abraham and Jacob; “Blessed is he who blesses you, and cursed is he who curses you.” (I add a thought here about the recent election In USA; we must NEVER FORGET that God is Sovereign and nothing happens outside His direct influence or His allowing outcomes to happen to further His ETERNAL PURPOSE ).
Taken together, these Scriptures make it clear that both the blessing and the curse originally pronounced on Abraham were extended to his descendants, Isaac and Jacob, and then on to their succeeding generations, who are today known collectively as the Jewish people. I PRAISE God here for the promise we, the Gentiles were afforded through the Seed of Abraham; Jesus Christ, the Son of God (see Galatians 3: 14-16): for we too fall under the same promise of blessing through Jesus! Hallelujah!
God did not make it impossible for His enemies to curse Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendants, but He did ensure that no one could do it with impunity (no connsequences). From that time onward, no one has ever cursed the Jewish people without bringing upon himself a far more fearful curse; that of Almighty God. The attitude that provokes this curse of God is summed up in a single word: Anti-Semitism.
Both socially and politically, anti-Semitism is one of the most powerful forces at work in our contemporary world. It ultimately spells disaster for ALL who allow themselves to be controlled by it. It is a dark principality that is very controlling and it spreads it’s tentacles of pure hatred against God and anything or anyone who represents Almighty God into the far corners of the globe. Once it has you in the power of its control; you will be used until there is no further need for you and then you will be destroyed by the one you gave your loyalty to. This spirit grows through the insatiable hatred that people feel toward each other; for it is refining and defining what will be fulfilled in the person, Anti Christ, of the last days.
Unfortuantely, the professing Christian Church has often been guilty of propagating flagrant anti-Semitism. Yet the Church owes EVERY spiritual blessing to those who have been her victims; the Jewish people. Without the Jews, the Church would have had no apostles, no Bible, and no Savior. Here is one main reason for the present lukewarm, powerless condition of so much of Christendom (especially in Europe and the Middle East).
The solution: open acknowledgment of anti-Semitism as sin, followed by deep and heart felt repentance and renunciation. This only will result in a deep, inner change of heart toward the Jewish people, and a recognition of the measureless spiritual blessings the Christian Church has received through them. Only then can we entreat God to remove the dark shadow of the curse, which at present rests upon major sections of the Church, and to replace it with God’s blessing.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May they propser who love you” (Psalm 122: 6) . Amen.
God is so faithful to His Word, so if one does not want the blessings of God in, on , and over their lives, then just go ahead and curse God and Israel, and reject the Son of His Love, Jesus the Christ, and you will get exactly what you have asked for, eternal separation from God, starting here, lasting FOREVER

Your comment about the last election is spot on, I am seeing and hearing more people turning their thoughts/attention to God, He has issued yet another wake up call, how many more, or was this the last…….?

Hi J.R. It is a valid question. I think each of us have to just keep our life, activities, and the words we speak, in obedience and according to God’s Word. It is my daily prayer for Holy Spirit to create in me a clean heart and to renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me; that the Lord would never have reason to cast me away from His Presence nor take His Spirit from me. I am daily tahnkful for His grace to stay in the race with Jesus; right to the finish line! God bless you brother; hope to see you as we cross over into eternity!
