“I WILL PRAISE YOU, O LORD, WITH ALL MY HEART; before the gods I will sing Your praise. I will sing to You, Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, Praise His name; Proclaim His salvation day after day. Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples. For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before Him; strength and glory are in His sanctuary. I will bow down toward Your holy temple and will praise Your name for Your love and Your faithfulness, for YOU HAVE EXALTED ABOVE ALL THINGS YOUR NAME AND YOUR WORD. When I called, You answered me; You made me bold and stouthearted (Psalm 138: 1; 96: 1-6; 138: 2, 3).

“Ascribe to the Lord, O families of nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; bring an offering and come into His courts. You, Lord, work out everything for Your own ends—even the wicked for a day of disaster. Worship the Lord in the splendor of His holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth. May all the kings of the earth praise You, O LORD, when they hear the WORDS OF YOUR MOUTH. May they sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the Lord is great (Psalm 96: 7-9; Proverbs 16: 4; Psalm 138: 4, 5).

“PRAISE be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle. He is my loving God and my fortress, my stronghold and my deliverer, my shield in whom I take refuge, who subdues peoples under me. I will exalt You, my God the King; every day my mouth will praise You and extol Your holy name forever and ever. You are faithful to all Your promises and loving toward all You have made. You are near to all who call on You in truth and You fulfill the desires of those who fear You. Great are You, Lord and most worthy of praise; Your greatness no one can fathom. You are gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love” (Psalm 144: 1, 2; 145: 1-3, 13-18, 8). PRAISE THE LORD!

I have felt such a need to PRAISE THE LORD these past few days. I have so many reasons to thank Him. He has given me the freedom I have to worship Him and I am able to speak openly about my Jesus, my Lord. I give thanks for the cross and for God’s plan to redeem all who call upon the name of the Lord (Romans 10: 13), for Holy Spirit and His presence within my life; “Thank You, for You are changing me daily into Christ-likeness!” I am grateful for the daily wisdom, instruction, and truth found within His Word, the Holy Bible. Hallelujah! I thank Him for my family and their health; my job and other material provisions; for this country in which I now live (USA) as well as for my country, Canada; for all of you and other brothers and sisters… I give HIM PRAISE!!! I am thankful GOD IS IN CONTROL, that no matter how it may appear to our natural eyes; He created all things and by His Word they exist and were created (Revelation 4: 11)! PRAISE THE LORD!

Do you BELIEVE HE IS IN CONTROL? Of your life, of all situations and circumstances surrounding you, of all leaders and nations within this world? Do you BELIEVE HE IS CHRIST, the RISEN LORD, FOREVER ALIVE? Do you LIVE in the VICTORY of this truth? Sometimes our burdens seem more than we can bear and we wonder if we can keep going on. I am here today to tell you, “YES, you CAN go on and you CAN do it with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control… for greater IS HE WITHIN YOU and HE IS ABLE to get you through!” I support this statement by His Word (Matthew 19: 26; Mark 9: 23; Luke 18: 27; Galatians 5: 22; Ephesians 2: 20; 1 John 4: 4) which is TRUTH and it is TO BE BELIEVED! Psalm 145 says GOD IS ABLE because His greatness is unfathomable and He IS your source for all things. He ALWAYS remains near those who love Him and He hears us when we cry out to Him. He is ALWAYS READY to lift you up and bear your burden for you. Praising Him takes our minds off our ‘self’ and our problems and helps us to focus our thoughts in Him! PRAISE JESUS!

I know this is a word for this day and hour. I had started writing this last Saturday evening and Holy Spirit confirmed it during the worship service in church on Sunday morning. What a wonderful blessing as I raised my voice in songs of praise to my LORD!

I have had a couple “tests” thrown at me recently. One of my dear friends and sister-in-Christ said, “I have this beautiful song for you, let me read you the words.”

It gives me great joy to share them with you, my brothers and sisters. They speak to the REALITY of circumstances in our daily life here and also remind us that GOD HAS PURPOSE and a PLAN to develop each of us into Christ’s image; whatever it takes! Give glory and praise to our LORD!!! Hallelujah!

Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; they will sing before the LORD, for He comes, He comes to judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in His truth” (Psalm 96: 10-13).

The LORD would say unto you:
“I have only promised you strength for each day, so take care not to waste time on sins and failures of yesterday, nor on fears for tomorrow. No regrets. No fears. Blessed are: the sincere who are constantly adjusting, those who cleanse themselves by taking heed to My Word, those who learn My principles and meditate upon Me, those who keep their eyes open to the wondrous things I am doing, those who choose the way of truth and do it, those who walk in liberty and are not ashamed to speak My Truth. Blessed are those who sing songs of praise and rise in the night to watch and give thanks, for their hearts shall be healthy, their minds sound, their power great, and their dwelling safe.”
