Brokenness
The LORD your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing (Zephaniah 3: 17).
It is becoming more and more evident that there are many within the body of Christ who are really hurting people. Many feel unloved, worthless, alone, unproductive, depressed, wounded, bitter, anxious, etc. even though they say they have received Christ as Lord over all areas of their life. You may be one of these people, or you may very well be one sitting right beside one those who is suffering. Those who are going through troubling times may be wondering what they have done to make God so angry or, what sin is in their life that has allowed Satan to come in and wreak havoc. I believe God is sovereign and therefore, everything that affects our life is either from God or allowed by Him to bring us into closer relationship with Him. God watches our “reactions” to the storms and people in our life; where, in whom, or what we place our trust to get us through. How much time are you spending with Him?
“I pray that out of His glorious riches He will strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ will dwell in your heart through faith. That you, being rooted and established in His love, may have power to grasp how all encompassing is Christ’s love for you and that you will experience the healing power of His love touch every aspect of your pain (body, soul, or spirit) right now as you read, in Jesus name. Amen.”

Your eyes will be opened wide this weekend. Suddenly, you will have understanding whereas before, you were blinded. Once you see, fall to your knees at least in your heart and repent before the Lord. Then repent before others as God convicts you.
Yesterday morning, I was grumpy and corrective towards my wife. I thought nothing about it except that deep inside I felt I had hurt the woman God gave me as gift from heaven. Later in the afternoon, as I was working on some things, the Holy Spirit strongly convicted me that I had truly sinned against my wife. My heart ached until I could get home to her, apologize and repent. Whew!
Her generous forgiveness, grace and love were like sweet honey.
There is someone in your life that needs to see and feel your repentance. You will need to apologize from a sincerely broken heart. Grab hold of your humility with both hands and pull it up and over you. Do the right thing.

Scripture Focus: Luke 12:13-21
Jesus told the parable of the rich fool, a story that reminds us of many people we know and resonates in our own hearts, too. In it the successful farmer felt he could “take life easy; eat, drink and be merry,” since he had handily stored all his grain and goods. Wealthy and comfortable, he was not in the least prepared when the voice of God called, demanding his life and pressing him to consider where his possessions would go now.
It is foolish, indeed, to put our trust and hope in the fading stuff of this world. The commercial world constantly presents us with the next kind of clothing, home or vacation we “deserve.” The pull is magnetic at times.
Oh, that we would realize soon that our trust and hope must never rest in material goods or in other people. Jeremiah tells us that in doing so we will be “like a bush in the wastelands” (17:6), rooted in nothing, and withering. Put your trust in the Lord, and see that even in times of drought, in Him we will bear much fruit.
Insight: Guard yourself against becoming greedy with money, position, possessions or relationships. instead trust God, the giver of those good things.

Lots of hungry children come to the table to eat. Thank you for helping to keep the pots full so they can all have a healthy nutritious meal. This is so important to the goal of transforming lives. By providing good food and nutrition, the children are better in school. It also opens doors of opportunity to share the Gospel with their families. One pastor wrote us last week that when she started feeding the children, their mothers began coming to church and it was not long until they accepted Jesus as Savior.

The article was definitely true for many Christians. I’m asking for prayer for myself to be healed from physical, mental and emotional abuse. Sometimes we need others to stand with us to get through the issues in our life. God bless you.

I too have had my share of troubles and strife, and the only thing that has brought me through is getting my “eyes” back on the Lord. He always brought me through.
It’s so easy to get our eyes on our circumstances and be overwhelmed by them, sometimes even thinking “God where are you in this mess”.
But Jesus says that He will never leave you or forsake you, ever.
It seems to come down to, what you believe, Him or your circumstances.
He is Truth and His Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, trust Him, He loved you enough to die for you.

Dear Beverly,
Thank you for your transparency before God and those who will stand with you in your healing. I pray this prayer for “Sealing Your Healing” over you and others who are dealing with past issues in their life. I pray for RENEWING of your mind and for cutting loose from the chains that bind through the power of the Cross and the LIFE that Jesus brings to all who will believe He IS able to set us free!
“Lord You have brought us healing and comfort. You have placed in our hands keys of knowledge; tools to build and repair our relationship with You and others. Lord, I/we give You our fears, our feelings of inadequacy. Remind us Lord, to speak TRUTH to ourselves like King David did, and to remember that rebuilding habit patterns can take time. Strengthen our spirit and renew our conscience so we will catch ourself when we defend, blame, or make excuses rather than accept correction. I/we set our wills to be teachable, to practicing and rehearsing righteous responses. I/we commit ourselves to maintaining RELATIONSHIP with You above all and then to trusted friends You have given us. And when I fail, Lord, remind me/us as You dust me/us off, that I am learning. I am Your child and not just a failure, and that You DELIGHT in me/us. Thank You for providing so that I/we might keep what You have won for me/us. Lord, I choose You–I choose LIFE! Amen.”
It is so reassuring to know that there is NO CONDEMNATION for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the Law of the Spirit of LIFE SET ME/YOU FREE from the law of sin and DEATH! (Romans 8: 1, 2) REJOICE In LIFE! 🙂

Tonite, Monday, September 19, the WME office will be open for prayer at 7 p.m. If anyone would like to come and join in special prayer for the work in Honduras, you are most welcome. We will spend about an hour in prayer. At least 2 of our partnering churches have prayer meetings on Monday nights as well and if you are a part of those meetings, please remember these requests in prayer as well, and wherever you may be, if you can join at 7 p.m. we will be agreeing together for great breakthrough in Honduras.
Would you pray for these special things.
1. That God will move mightily in Honduras and that all the Discovery Bible Studies will multiply many times, and that those in the studies will all respond to the Holy Spirit and become obedient followers of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray that multiple church planting movements will result throughout Honduras and Central America.
2. That God will bless and protect all the key members of the Honduras team and key leaders: Randy and Linda Travis, Keith and Juanita Travis, Adiel, Jacobo, Daniel, Mario, Carlos, Oscar, and “Beto” and his key leaders. Pray specially for traveling mercies in the next few weeks for Randy and Linda as they fly back to Honduras, and for Keith and Juanita as they drive back from Mexico, and for “Beto” as he recovers from surgery and flys home.
3. Pray for WME that God will supply all the needs of the organization and all of the missionaries and Kingdom work that is happening around the world. There are some very real financial needs right now.
Prayer Requests September 19-23, 2011
Daniel and Mario
1) A and R in El Mogote Santa Barbara. They are leaders in the R.C. They may start studying on the next visit. Pray that they will.
2) D in Santa Barbara is a new contact. No studies have been started with her yet. Pray they soon will start.
3) Pray for V and his wife. They have had health issues lately. His wife was hospitalized and almost died. They have yet to make a decision for Christ.
4) Daniel (team worker) needs special prayer for strength and encouragement.
Adiel and Jacobo
1) Pray for J and family that God will give them the desire to continue studying.
2) Pray for M, M, and S in Capuca that they will continue studying and that they will be convicted to not just study the scriptures but to obey them.
3) J in San Bartolo has 8 different bible studies. Pray that he will continue mentoring the groups and will do a good job mentoring them.
4) M in San Agustin is doing studies within the small group settings already established by the Catholic Church. Pray that God will deal with them. Pray that He will reveal His Word to them and that they will continue studying and sharing.
Oscar and Carlos
1) Pray for the DBS in Barranco with Tomas’ family that they will show interest in the studies. This group has been up and down in number.
2) There is another group in Barranco with J. They have the same problems mentioned in the previous prayer request. Pray they will show more of an interest .
3) A in Salitre Santa Barbara didn’t start studies last visit because he wasn’t home but says he will start on the next visit. Pray that he will make this a priority and actually start the studies on the next visit.
4) Pray that God will open more doors in Guatemala, especially, in the village of La Concepcion. D is a new contact there.
S.C. Requests
1) Keith and Juanita are in Mexico getting the required documents for her visa. By the time it is over the trip will have cost them over 2000.00 dollars. Much of this money was borrowed. Pray the need will be met to pay this back.
Praise report: They did get three documents finished before the independence holidays hit but they lack three more. Pray these will completed Monday 19th so they can head back to Honduras and get back to the Embassy.
2) Keith and Juanita head back to Honduras as soon as they get these last documents. Probably between Monday and Wed. Pray they will have a SAFE TRIP and get thru all the borders without any problems and that the officials will cooperate putting their seals in good places in the passports. Keith only has one page left in his passport and he needs to get back to the embassy in Honduras to add more pages. One page is enough if all the officials will be mindful of where they stamp their seal in his passport. He will be dealing with 3 countries. Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras.
Praise report: They had a safe trip over from Honduras to Mexico and all the officials from all three countries cooperated in placing their seals thus leaving a full empty page for his return trip.
3) S.C. Randy and Linda fly from Atlanta to Honduras the morning of the September 24th (this coming sat) at 10:05 Eastern Time. Pray for a safe flight to Honduras and safe traveling the rest of the way to Santa Rosa. Pray that we will have no problems entering the country.

This is coming from a grandmother and I am certain she is one of thousands; praying for her children and grandchildren. One of the key atttacks of the enemy is on the “family unit” and it is my prayer that there will be conviction and repentance of fathers who are not in right relationship first with the Lord and then within their homes (as spiritual leader). That Christ will become center in all families around the globe. This young boy, Patrick has been given the diagnosis of Autism; but I stand in agreement with this mother and grandmother that Patrick is whole and complete in and through Christ. I bind the demonic attack on this young man and in Jesus name, command every organ system, cell, and gene, to line up under God’s dominion and perfect order. Thank You, Lord and to You I give all the praise and glory. Amen.

Judy,
Patrick is my youngest daughter baby boy her husband Chris has a temper of his own he has hurt my daughter several months ago getting into an argument about him talking to other women you know we are living on the last days before Christ comes back. The more I see what happens to ISRAEL the more the Bible is so clear on the end days.
Ronda is my youngest child and I am so proud of her taking care of her sons and she is fighting each day as I told her it is satan trying to get her to give up but she is standing on solid ground,taking care of her family and I can’t believe some people tell her to put her son in a home but she is standing on the Lord word that he will take care of them. I did go to the sight you told me about but I could not see where to post it. you have my permission to post it and more praying the stronger she will be .

We were just singing the words of Eph 3 in our prayer room yesterday morning here in Northern Thailand. The words of Betsy TenBoom came to mind (Betsy was Corrie TenBoom’s sister and she died in a Nazi Prison Camp in WWII) Right before she died, she said to Cory “Remember Cory, there is never a pit so deep but that God is deeper still”. I truly believe she had come to know how wide – how long – how deep – how high is the Love of Christ!!! (The name of our ministry here in Northern Thaialnd is “Deeper Still” 🙂 BLESSINGS to you!

Isn’t God wonderful?! You are across the world but He knows how to bless us and it is most often through little things that you just wrote of. It confirms in our spirit that He KNOWS and sees all of us, no matter where we are and that He loves us. “We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us” (1 Cor. 2: 12).
I pray for God’s protection and the provision for all you have need of in the coming days; that you continue to go forward, in faith, trusting Him alone. God bless you.
