My dove in the clefts of the rock, in the hiding places on the mountainside, show Me your face, let Me hear your voice; for your voice is sweet and your face is lovely. Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that ruin the vineyards, our vineyards that are in bloom. (Song of Solomon 2: 14, 15)
This particular passage is often identified for those united in marriage and the little foxes are an example of the kinds of problems that can disrupt or destroy a relationship. The lovers wanted anything that could potentially cause problems between them revealed and removed. It is often the “little hidden things” that cause the biggest problems.
All believers in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, see Him as their spiritual and eternal husband (2 Corinthians 11: 2, 3). He desires transparency (to be viewed by light passing through it) in our relationship with Him. God’s light of TRUTH WILL shine upon each of us and it WILL illumine and cheer us as we walk with Him. However, it will also penetrate the dark and secret places of our hearts, revealing perhaps some sin, or fault. We should desire its radiance, for not only its comfort and guidance, but for its revelation of all that is within us that is not wholly the Lord’s. He requires each of us to look within our ‘self’ for the hidden things we have not yet given to Him (Proverbs 27: 19; Psalm 86: 11, 12; Jeremaih 17: 9).
Transparency of heart comes by the power of Jesus Christ and His invitation is always extended to us, to live in the secret place of the Most High, under the shade of His almighty hand. Rest in His Presence, not clamouring, not supplicating, but resting, until the impurities of our hidden places (the dross) in our character is refined. “Create in me a pure heart, O God and renew a stedfast spirit within me.” Only then can we go forward strengthened to do all that God has planned for each of us. Don’t you desire to know about any areas of weakness BEFORE you go into battle? To win a war (spiritual, or natural) you must be fully covered, head to toe, with Christ! (2 Corinthians 10: 3-6; Ephesians 6: 10-18)

I so enjoy seeing that those in Christ are united as ONE through God’s Spirit. Holy Spirit gives each of us “part” of any message and every one adds to what God is telling us at any given moment. Like a diamond; it’s brilliancy is revealed through the many facets/cuts. Praise the Lord!

Scripture Focus: Psalm 1
Can you recall a time when your mind and thoughts were glued to something? Before my wife and I were engaged, I spent hours upon hours thinking about the woman I hoped to marry. It was a thrill to discover everything I possibly could about her.
Psalm 1 addresses the fundamental importance of meditating on “the law of the Lord,” which is the Word of God. It teaches that meditation on His Word is the way to blessedness. In fact, it reveals that “delighting” in God’s law and “meditating” on it go hand in hand. God doesn’t just want our minds; He wants our hearts.
There are many things in this world that vie for our attention. But none compares to the eternal, true, and beautiful words of Scripture. What else could make us wise, preserve us from sin, and free us to be the people God calls us to be? Christ invites us to the banqueting table where we can “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8). When we feast on God’s Word, we commune with Jesus Himself.
Insight: Do You Delight In The Law Of The Lord? Do You Meditate On Scripture? May God Produce Within Us A Holy Appetite For His Word.

When Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well, He told her of the living water He could supply(John 4:10-15). Christ invites anyone to come and drink of the water of life. All people everywhere may come. Salvation cannot be earned, but God gives it freely. We live in a world desperately thirsty for living water, and many are dying of thirst. But it is still not too late. Let us invite everyone to come and drink.
Today, the Church is filled with Christians like the early disciples who fell asleep when Jesus asked them to pray (Luke 22:39-46). Todays’ Christians are going to church regularly, paying their tithes, and working in the church, but they are unaware of what is happening in the spiritual realm. They are not prepared to recognize the sign of the times.
I tell you that Jesus Christ will not return to this earth until we have experienced the most spine-tingling earth-shaking events since human beings have inhabited the planet. Professing Christian ministers who say ” Christ could come tonite” are so out of touch with the truths of the Bible that it is unbelievable. For none of us knows exactly how many days or years we have left. Remember, God Himself clearly reveals in the Bible an entire series of events to occur before, Christ’s coming. Jesus Christ commands us all: ” So you also, when you see these things happening know that the kingdom of God is near. Assuredly I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:31-36).
We don’t know the day or the hour, but Jesus is coming soon and unexpectedly. This is good news to those who trust Him, but a terrible message for those who have rejected Him or Don’t know Him. We must be ready for Him, always prepared for his return. Would Jesus’ sudden appearance catch you off guard? ” Come Lord Jesus “

As the UN bid for Palestine comes closer the people become more and more restless here. They are anxious and do fear for violence by the Jewish settlers in the West Bank. – This morning we prayed as intercessors in Jerusalem for this cause, it was powerful and G-d showed up mightily. The picture of the woman at the well came alive for the people here. Everyone who is thirsty has to come to the well with Living Waters & has to come to Yeshua. It’s both. We cried out for the oppressed people here, we pleaded before His throne on behalf of this nation. Mercy, Mercy, Lord have Mercy! — Please stand with us in prayer this week, we are hanging in balance, pray for His mercy that G-d will give time for people to repent so He can save them from hatred, wrath and war.
Adonai Shalom hear our cry, Abba Father!

We watch as biblical prophecy unfolds and is manifested before our eyes; God has revealed the “end from the beginning” and we must stand on His Word and give Him all the glory and praise as He draws ever nearer to His people and to draw those who do not yet know Him.
I URGE YOU, as intercessors, as people of the “family of God” to be praying for Israel and for all the nations called to this time and place in history. “Lord, I pray for Your Truth to prevail in all peoples of all nations involved; for leadership that is moved by Your hand and for Your kingdom purposes, in Jesus name. PRAYER UPDATE FROM ISRAEL (September 20, 2011)
CHOOSE LIFE!
BE AT YOUR STATION!
“I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live that you may love the LORD your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you [i.e. Israel, descendants of Jacob] may dwell in the land which the LORD swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them”
(Deuteronomy 30:19-20-closing the first portion of this week’s Torah reading.).
“You are stationed here today before the LORD your God: your leaders and your tribes and your elders and your officers, all the men of Israel, your little ones and your wives-also the stranger who is in your camp, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water.” (Deuteronomy 29:10-First verse of this week’s Torah Portion. “Nitsavim”, the title of this reading, is a military term (today as in ancient times) meaning to “be stationed”, to “be positioned.”).
If events continue on what appears to be their present course, the end of this week will find representatives of nations facing a choice, the results of which we believe could indeed mean “life or death, blessing or cursing” for the prosperity of their citizens and lands both now and for generations to come. Friday PA President Abbas plans to present to the Security Council at the UN a request that Palestine be granted recognition as a new member state of the United Nations with borders along the ’67 lines and with Jerusalem as its capital. Voting to accept this (the vote itself would likely take place a few weeks later) would essentially be countenancing placement of a permanent Muslim sovereignty over all of Judea and Samaria, all of Hamas-held Gaza, and over vast portions of Jerusalem, including the Old City (with the Temple Mount) and the Mount of Olives. The Security Council consists of five permanent members-the US, China, France, the UK and Russia (each of which is endowed with a power to veto), and ten non-permanent members, elected for two-year terms. Only the Security Council can grant full membership of a newly-declared state to the General Assembly. As of this writing five nations on the SC have indicated a willingness to vote for Palestinian membership-Lebanon, Russia, China, Brazil, South Africa and India. Of the other nine members France, Britain, Germany, Bosnia, Portugal, Gabon, Columbia, Nigeria and the US, only the US has firmly stated it is against granting membership; the US has further indicated that if pressed with a majority vote in favour of statehood, it will exercise its veto power-a move it dearly desires it will not be forced to make. It was during the past week that President Abbas made a decision to first bypass calling for a vote in the General Assembly (which does not have power to grant full citizenship) and to go straight to the Security Council. Presently the so-called “Quartet” has been working furiously on a last-ditch effort to come up with a proposal for restarting some sort of negotiations which persuade Abbas to at least postpone his present plan.
In the meantime, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is flying to New York to first confer with President Obama on Wednesday, then to address the General Assembly on Friday. His stated purposes for making this trip, 1. To use all his influence to make sure that the Palestinian move to circumvent negotiations does not succeed, and 2. “To present the truth, which is that we [i.e. Israelis] are not foreigners and we have rights going back 4,000 years.”
This past week has seen groups of believers from around the world gathering in New York to take part in strategic intercession, moving about the area of the UN, conferring those who may have influence, watching, praying. A rally is planned for Wednesday, standing against the unilateral statehood request, and also against the racist “Durban III” conference also set to open this weekend.
We find it remarkable that the same week as so momentous a choice appears to be rising into place before the nations, from the week’s Parashah rings out the solemn call, warning and encouragement of Deuteronomy 30:19-20, “I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.”
PLEASE PRAY:
*That President Abbas’ plans to demand Palestinian statehood at the UN this Friday will be called off-but not at the expense of unrighteous concessions being forced on Israel.
*That if the matter is to be brought to a vote in the Security Council, a majority of countries will vote against recognition. Pray that some of those which have already indicated they will vote for statehood, will reconsider.
*For Prime Minister Netanyahu’s meeting with President Obama and for his speech on Friday.that he receive divine guidance of thought, comprehension and words. Pray Deuteronomy 31:7 from this week’s Torah Portion, that he be “strong and courageous”.and that the fear of the God of his fathers will rest on him. Pray mercy over President Obama that he will also sense the fear of the Lord.that he will honour the Prime Minister of Israel and not seek to coerce him. Pray courage to follow through with his promise to veto if the circumstance warranting it should arise.
*God’s watch and protection over Israel. Guidance for authorities in Israel in guarding her borders and quelling any violent disturbances the enemy is planning in relation to the happenings at the UN.
*Pray against hatred and violence over those Palestinian Arabs whom God is calling to rise up out of the darkness which for the most part rules that people. Pray for the Palestinian Arab young people who were touched by the Holy Spirit at the recent Elav conference.that they will be led in truth in the God who has a way of hope and a future planned for them and their families.
*For the believers which God has placed in strategic positionings around the UN this week. Pray for their protection, and for the Holy Spirit to release on them words and declarations which it is God’s will to release into this situation, “On Earth as it is in Heaven!”
PRAY FOR BELIEVERS ALL OVER THE WORLD WHOM GOD HAS CALLED TO INTERCEDE OVER ISRAEL DURING THIS SEASON TO “BE AT THEIR STATIONS”-“STANDING IN THEIR POSITIONINGS ON THE WALL” (See Torah section below, Deuteronomy 29:10; also Habakkuk 2:1 where a form of the same word is used for setting oneself in ones positioning on the rampart).

Do you not know? Do you not see that I am calling forth a holy people…a people who will not bow the knee to another, a people whose great desire is for the truth and to honor the truth? I have called forth a people to be sound in doctrine, who will not only try the spirits, but who will examine the word spoken under the microscope of My Word…the more sure word of prophecy.
This people will not seek the favor of man, nor will they be ensnared by the fear of man. They shall walk together though miles apart, for they are one in Spirit and in doctrine…free of factions and dubious manifestations. These are the called-out ones, whose hope is not in man-made traditions, fine-appearing edifices, or cultic mysticism, but whose hope rests solidly on My Word, an unadulterated word, not that which pleases or appeases the flesh.
They will understand My judgments and agree with them. They will know when to pray for their fulfillment, or when a situation is the work of the enemy… although to all appearances may seem harmless, but detrimental to the work of the Holy Spirit and His work throughout the world. These believers will know when to leave a situation in My hands and allow Me to correct and reprove; to divide the wheat from the chaff, tearing down evil and upholding that which is good, pure and true.
They will not be partial because of outward appearance, but will discern by the Spirit who is Mine and who is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Darkness is being brought to light and My children will know and recognize their final destiny, their final resting place is not this world. They know that not all who call themselves “Christian” are My children. They determine the fruit of the Spirit not by quantity (numbers), but quality of character and adherence to My Word.
These courageously speak the unvarnished truth no matter the cost. Their love for Me is deep. They seek Me and My will above all, hungering and thirsting after righteousness.
Yes, I will have a true, purified people, who follow the way of the cross, who have willingly learned obedience through suffering, and are willing to lay down their lives, as did My only begotten Son, Jesus. The choice is yours. “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve…” Joshua 24:15
