A CALL TO REST IN HIM (Part 3)

Sum of All Color

Behold, God is great, and we know Him not, neither can the number of His years be searched out.  For He maketh small the drops of water:  they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:  which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.  Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of His tabernacle.  Behold, He spreadeth His light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.  (Job 36: 26-30)

I am so excited to tell you how God manifested His Presence to me on my walk this morning.  It was just at daybreak and there was a heavy misting over the field.  The air was cool and damp.  I thought about the Israelites journey through the wilderness and how God manifested His Presence to them in the cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night.  I thanked and praised Him for sharing this day with Yoshi and I.
On my way home I was taking pictures and as I walked down one path I looked into the sky; hardly daring to believe what I saw.  There was a full rainbow that seemed to made of mist; at least that’s what I saw…a misty, white colored rainbow!  I tell you, my heart leapt with incredible JOY!  I remembered that WHITE is a reflection of all three primary colors.  When I got home I read in Wikipedia that it has also been defined as the ‘sum of all colors of light’.  God has revealed His Presence with rainbows (of full, vibrant color) when we travel and it is not uncommon for us to see three or four of them each road trip; in fact, we look for them as His blessing over us.  Therefore, I felt this was yet another and special sign to me of His Presence and love.
When I was reading my Bible this evening, I turned to the above verses in Job and they confirmed to me that God wanted to give me yet another glimpse of Him.  I give you my paraphrase of verses 29 and 30 (after looking up the Hebrew meaning of key words):  “Also can any understand the dense cover or the stirring of His screen of protection?  Behold, He is spreading His illumination and His glory upon all of His own.”  I am convinced (by faith) that all who are hungry and thirsty for MORE of Him, shall, in increasing measure, shine and reflect His very nature to all those He brings into your life.  Not only that, you shall walk in greater authority and anointing in your ministry and in your prayer life.  To God be all the glory and praise! 🙂

    You Are Mine

“But now, this is what the LORD says – he who created you, O Jacob,
he who formed you, O Israel: ‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I
have summoned you by name; you are mine.'” (ISAIAH 43:1)
    Scripture Focus: Isaiah 43:1-13

I recently spent an afternoon in an urgent care facility and was
amazed at how many people came in and out. There were people of all
different ages, races and stature, all waiting to be acknowledged and
helped. As I thought about the myriad of broken lives and hurting
souls in the world just trying to survive another day, my heart was
    drawn to Isaiah 43.

God’s words through Isaiah remind us that we “are precious and
honored in His sight, and He loves us” (vs. 4). Although we have done
absolutely nothing to merit His love and grace, God lavishes it
freely on us – costly though it was to Him. He is the one true Savior
(vs. 11), humbly demonstrating His love on the bloody cross of
Calvary. He calls His children by name, declaring them to be His very
own! God’s Word is filled with precious promises offering hope and
assurance for lonely, desperate, weary souls. Christ did not come
simply to “acknowledge” us. Those who trust in Him are redeemed by
His saving blood and belong to Him!

God’s Promise That The Holy One Of Israel Is With You!

  2. I proclaim over each of you the blessing I hear in my spirit:

“I LOVE YOU with an everlasting love. The human mind canot comprehend My constancy. You need to look beyond the flux of circumstances and discover Me gazing lovingly back at you. This awareness of My Presence strengthens you, as you receive and respond to My love. Let My love flow into you continually. Your need for Me is as constant as the outflow of My love to you.”

  3. Thank you for sharing another answer to prayer and testimony of God’s amazing love and the VICTORY we have in Jesus! There is more to this letter that you can all read if you would go to the Brian’s email address below.

A YOM KIPPUR TESTIMONY FROM CHAYYM BARUCH SAMTUR
The Ten Days of Awe which begin at Yom Teruahave their climax in Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. We praise that after worshipping all night Erev Yom Teruah
and all day Yom Teruah several years ago, our worship, prayer, fellowship and scripture study group witnessed a miracle of resurrection victory for which we give all honor,
Glory and praise to the Holy One of Yisrael, Eloheem Blessed be He, in the name of Messiah Y’shua!
We visited Gerri Myers in the Hospital and were told by the nurse that this 59 year old woman had no heartbeat or breathing or kidney function and was kept alive only by life support, hooked up to multiple tubes, which would most likely be pulled the next day. We sang Scriptural songs, anointed her head, hands and feet with oil from Yerushaleem enriched with myrrh, frankincense and offered prayers to our Heavenly Father through the blood, water, Ruach HaKodesh and the Resurrection Victory of Messuah Y’shua.
We asked that His will be done in Gerri’s life for His Glory and His kingdom. We asked Abba if it was His will, that the resurrection victory of Messiah Y’shua would manifest in Gerri so that when the tubes were removed, her heart and respiratory functions would return that she might live as a witness and testimony to ‘s power,
sovereignity, grace and love! HalleluYah! After midnight Gerri awoke and wrote a note saying that she didnt want to leave…….And when the tubes were removed and the plugs pulled…Her heart and lungs were fully restored in Reurrection Victory by the GRACE OF ALMIGHTY b’shem Moshiach Y’shua! Thank You Abba .
May Gerri’s life be a devotional blessing as Your servant for Your Kingdom as You guide her and lead her all the days of her life…Awemain

Thank you for the Sukkot information Daniel! I so agree that the Feasts are a prophetic picture of the Gospel message and the HOPE that we have in Christ.

I am thrilled that by GRACE through Jesus we are fellow citizens of the household of God; and are “built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief corner stone; in whom all the building fitly framed together growth unto an holy temple in the Lord: in whom ye are also builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit” (Eph. 2 :20-22; Heb 8: 1-5).

“You shall dwell in tents seven days, that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt,”
    Leviticus 23:42-43.

    Happy Birthday Y’shua!

The Scriptures and historical records indicate that the Savior was most likely born during the Festival of Tabernacles, which occurs in September or October.

The Festival of Tabernacles, called “Sukkot” in Hebrew, recalls the wilderness voyage of the Israelites towards the Promised Land. For forty years the Hebrew people dwelt in tents and were fed heavenly manna. To remember the exodus journey, the Israelites were instructed in Leviticus 23 to hold an annual seven day celebration.

The story of John the Baptist proves that the birth of Messiahtook place during Sukkot. Elizabeth (John’s mother) was in her sixth month of pregnancy when Y’shua was conceived (Luke 1:24-36). John’s father was a priest serving in the Jerusalem temple during the course of Abijah (Luke 1:5). Nine months from the temple service would have been about the month of March for the most likely time for John’s birth. Adding another six months (the difference in ages) brings us to the end of September as the most likely time of Messiah’s birth.

Y’shua was born in the town of Bethlehem, in order to fulfill a prophecy found in Micah 5:1-2. This Bethlehem birth occurred because of a Roman census that was taking place. For tax purposes, King Herod and the Romans were known to take their censuses according to the prevailing customs of the occupied territories. Each Hebrew male journeyed to Jerusalem three times a year, at Passover, Pentecost, and the Feast of Tabernacles. The towns around Jerusalem (like Bethlehem) would fill to capacity as the observant Hebrews made their pilgrimage to Jerusalem. There was no room at the inn because the vacancies were filled by the travelers. John the Baptist was born at Passover and Y’shua was born 6 months later during Sukkot.

The puzzle of the Messiah’s birth date comes together with the knowledge of this festival. The birth of the Savior was not an independent event that could have occurred on any date. The Sukkot birth was a prophetic picture of “Emmanu-el” or “EL (God) with us.” John 1:14 says that the “word became flesh and dwelt among us.” The Greek term for “dwelt” in the oldest manuscripts is the exact same Greek word used to reference the Old Testament “tabernacle.” So, this verse could actually read – “the word became flesh and tabernacle among us.” The manifest presence of the Creator was the message of Sukkot during the times of Moses, the birth of Y’shua, and today.

Sukkot is not a “Jewish holiday,” but rather a Biblical festival given to all believers for joy and spiritual growth. Happy birthday Y’shua!
