So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59: 19).
The verse above lets us know that the enemy WILL come against us throughout our day to day life; however, it also carries God’s promise that the LORD IS with us and He has lifted up a “standard” against him. The ‘standard’ is Christ!
The Spirit of the LORD anointed Christ to set the captive free (Luke 4: 18) and all who have been born anew in Christ Jesus have been resurrected with Him (spiritually speaking) and we sit together in heavenly places in Him even right now (Ephesians 2)! We are living in this world and we may be affected to some degree by the cares of this world, but we can, at the same time, REJOICE in our position in Christ through the power of Holy Spirit (see Zechariah 4: 6).
When you are confronted with obstacles like sickness (spiritual, physical, emotional), financial, relationship issues, etc. and you feel it’s safer to just remain ‘under your bed covers’ do not trust in your own ability or strength to take care of things. Ultimately, the effort (or lack of) you put into anything will not work. Christ tells us in 2 Corinthians 12: 9, that His enabling Grace (the goodness of God carried out by Holy Spirit) is sufficient for us; that His strength is made perfect in weakness.
The LORD tends to put us in places that make us weaker, with the intent to get us to completely depend on Him. When we relinquish all OUR (SELF) control unto Him; He will then raise HIS STANDARD (POWER) against anything the enemy tries to defeat us with. I encourage you to GET UP! STAND FIRM IN THE VICTORY CHRIST HAS ALREADY OBTAINED FOR YOU (Ephesians 6: 10-12)! 🙂
I encourage each of you to check out Judah and Katie’s LINK (Mercy House Coffee) and help out their mission by the purchase of Coffee that the people in Cambodian villages grow and sell to keep Human Trafficking stomped out! Great gift idea as well.
Prayer Request for Honduras Project
Week of November 21, 2011
Definitions: The other day someone asked me what a DBS was, and how it related to the reports of churches. What is the difference between a DBS and a church. Here are some definitions:
DBS: A Discovery Bible Study made up of unbelievers, those who have not yet accepted Christ as Savior.
Church: A group of people who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and are meeting together around the word of God and following the commands of Christ.
A DBS is a “Pre-Church” group.
Once people come to Christ in a DBS, a church is born. When a village or community is first entered, a Person of Peace is sought out. This is someone who has influence to allow the beginning of a DBS in his home or somewhere so that people in his circle of influence can study the word of God together. Check out the several videos at http://www.wmeinc.blogspot.com to find out all about how these things work. To date, 159 churches have been born. We think that around 5,500 people are involved in the churches and perhaps close to 1,000 more people are in DBS groups presently. (We were reporting a combined total of around 3,700 people just 6 months ago.)
Prayer Requests:
Pray that a DBS will be started with M and family in Danli
Pray for team leader Mario’s wife Tesla. She is pregnant with their first child. Pray that all turns out well and that the child will be born healthy.
Pray for J in the village of C. He used to host a DBS then stopped and has recently contacted one of the team members and wants to start back. It is a dangerous area to go to.
Pray for R and family in the village of M. This family is on the verge of starting a DBS. Pray really hard that this DBS will start. R could very well be a key person in this community.
Pray for a new contact (M) in the village of N. The team wants to start a new DBS there.
Pray for the DBS in B in the house of T.
Pray for M in Guatemala that the Lord would help as she continues with the study there and that more studies would be started
Pray that God would grant special grace to both Oscar and Carlos to work together and accomplish much for the Kingdom of God.
Pray for J in Lempira that he would continue with a DBS in his home and that he would be delivered from alcohol.
Pray for M in C that he would be bold in his decision to have a DBS in his home and to start other DBS’s despite the persecution they are facing.
Pray for Keith and Juanita’s finances.
Praise Reports:
Keith and Juanita got here to the USA. Thank you for all your prayers so that she could get her visa. She was granted a K3 visa. Within 90 days they have to apply for adjustment of status to residency. That will cost an additional $2000.00 or so. Pray that this need will be met and that also all the documentation to apply for adjustment of status to residency can be collected up without any problems and that when she applies for this adjustment that all will go well. Thank you for your prayers. Thank the Lord she is here on the K3 visa!
Thank you for your prayers for S.C. Randy and Linda. We made it to the US without any problems.

Praise God for all He IS doing through each of you involved in the Honduras Church Planting Movement. Thanks David, for letting the readers know more about what it is you are doing in Honduras as it increases our understanding. As I was reading this I thought of a passage in Philippians and I would like to pray it over this ministry and all the other ministries God has begun through people like you.
“I thank my God every time I remember you. In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. … And this is my prayer: That your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ–to the glory and praise of God” (1: 3-11) Amen.

Subject: Visa Break | Prayer Requests
Blessed are you in the Name of Jesus!
Dear friends & family,
This is a brief prayer letter to you;
I will leave Israel December 1 for a necessary visa break, my work-permit & add.visa are in proces and this takes time here, more than I have. My visa expires the 2nd of December and I don’t want to over stay. I would appreciate your prayers over my preparation for leaving and my travels itself. I do have to do a lot before leaving and actually I am in the middle of many things, just started and running, It’s a bit a bad timing. Pray that I will have the peace and rest and trust to go. I would love to return soon. This is also a prayer request since I am waiting for the financial breakthrough to be able to pay a ticket back to Israel.
Also pray for the people I am leaving, I love them and want them to be good and well cared for when I am away. My desire is to be back before Christmas.
It’s short but THANK YOU for taking time to pray into this!
Blessings & Love,
Mareah

Greetings in Jesus name, Mareah! When you send out your requests for help, they encourage my FAITH to rise up to another level! 🙂 Your request speaks into this blog post; the frustrating ‘cares of your world’ calling you to focus on and trust in God, who is your Supplier, Stability, and Peace.
God bless you and I pray with you in agreement that “all things will work together for you, for you love Him, and He has called you for His purpose and for His glory!” (Romans 8: 28)

We Give Thanks!
A Movement is Born!
Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”
-Psalm 126:2
This scripture seems appropriate today. God is truly doing amazing things in Honduras! Our hearts are filled with joy and thanksgiving to God for what He is doing.
A Church Planting Movement has begun. God birthed a vision for a church planting movement in Honduras in our hearts in 2006. After nearly 2 years of preparation, the Honduras Church Planting Movement Project was launched in mid-2008. The 3 and ½ years since then have been times of hard work, sacrifice and even persecution. There have been surges forward and setbacks! In an article that I have written on our blog I have charted the journey. Read the whole story…
But to summarize here, we are defining a Church Planting Movement as a rapidly reproducing movement of churches planting churches within a people or population. This is measured in different ways, but the definition that we are using is at least 100 churches, 3 generations deep, within 2 years or less.
That has now happened and continues to happen in Honduras. We have just received reports that the159th church has been planted there as a result of this project and that there are 3 generations of churches….and that the specific movement is less than 2 years old. Praise be to our God! In fact 98 of the churches have been planted in the last 6 months! God is moving and I believe that your prayers have been a great and important part of what God is doing.
Pray for the Movement!
We send a very special thank you to all of our prayer warriors that pray for Honduras every day! It is your prayers and giving that has made this movement possible!
If you would like to join The 300 Prayer list, pleas e-mail wme.lindsay@gmail.com and let us know that you would like to receive our weekly prayer requests and praise reports directly from Honduras!
As we go through this Thanksgiving season, we want to remember to thank our donors! None of this would be possible without you!
For your convenience, you can now give to the Honduras Church Planting Movement online!
Could you give $10 to support the work in Honduras?

Worship in a Minor Key
“For my soul is full of trouble and my life draws near the grave.” (PSALMS 88:3)
Scripture Focus: Psalm 88
I’ve often heard worship leaders encourage congregations to leave their troubles and cares behind when they enter the sanctuary to worship. While I can understand the sentiment, statements like these seem to suggest either that worship is somehow disconnected from our everyday struggles or that worship is not an appropriate place for emotions like grief or sadness.
Yet Scripture suggests just the opposite. First, our worship is intimately connected to our everyday life because the God we worship is one who acts in history – in our everyday lives. He forgives real sins, defeats real enemies, and saves real people like you and me. Secondly, grief and sadness are entirely appropriate emotions in worship. Our reading for today is a supreme example of a real believer struggling with real problems, bringing his complaint to the Lord. What father would not want to hear from his children when they are troubled? Yet we resist ending with lament. For Jesus, the true voice in this psalm, has finally defeated our ultimate enemy, turning our mourning into joy.
“His Anger Lasts Only A Moment, But His Favor Lasts A Lifetime; Weeping May Remain For A Night, But Rejoicing Comes In The Morning.” (Psalm 30:5)

UPHEAVAL AND DARKNESS GROWING UPON THE ISAIAH 19 HIGHWAY
Egypt: It is a week before the first free parliamentary elections in Egypt in decades are scheduled to take place; on the 28th of November a staggered vote will begin to elect a new parliament. This week, however, the ruling military indicated that elections for a president might not take place until 2013 or thereafter, and it would hold onto its “presidential power” until that happens. Last Friday the Muslim Brotherhood sent demonstrators into Cairo’s Tahrir Square to protest continued military power. These and other Islamists swelled overnight to tens of thousands, and in the course of the weekend they gave way to the youth whose activism brought down Mubarak in the spring. Yesterday evening police backed by army officers charged the demonstrators, firing tear gas and beating with batons. The protestors are claiming that live ammunition has been used against them. By Monday afternoon over 30 are said to have been killed and hundreds have been wounded.
As explained in a New York Times article November 18th (“Egypt Islamists Demand the End of Military Rule”), the rally represents “the beginning of a new battle between Egypt’s two most powerful political forces, the military and the once-outlawed Muslim Brotherhood, that leaves Egyptian liberals and leftists anxious and divided on the sidelines. Many liberals are torn between their fears of military rule and a religious takeover.”
SYRIA. Meanwhile, in Syria far to the north an eight-month uprising against the regime of President Bashar Assad continued to intensify. Dozens of protestors were reported killed by government forces on Friday and at least 14 on Saturday. On Sunday Damascus for the first time felt the effects of the uprising when rocket-propelled grenades hit the headquarters of the ruling Baath Party there. There has been widespread international condemnation of what is seen as Assad’s strong and brutal measures to quell the uprising. The League of Arab States has suspended Syria’s membership, threatening sanctions if Assad doesn’t end the violence. And non-Arab Turkey has begun voicing disaffection with the Assad regime, issuing veiled but increasingly sharp warnings. Although President Assad gives voice service to elections in February or March in which Syrians may vote for a parliament to create a new constitution, through which a new president might be elected, he was quoted in Britain’s Sunday Times as saying, “The conflict will continue and the pressure to subjugate Syria will continue. However, I assure you that Syria will not bow down and that it will continue to resist the pressure being imposed on it.”
GAZA. This Thursday Palestinian authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to meet with Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal in a new bid to reconcile the differences between the two Islamic factions. On Saturday it was reported that Fatah and Hamas have reached an agreement that the next Palestinian government will be located in the Gaza Strip, which if proven true would mean that the next head of the Palestinian government would be from Gaza. Hamas, the Islamic Resistance Movement is a militant wing of the Muslim Brotherhood founded in 1987. After gaining power in elections in Gaza in 2007, Hamas proceeded to violently take over the entire government; it has held an iron rule there ever since.
If Assad’s regime in Syria falls, should the present military rule in Egypt also fall, a vast sea of Sunni Islamization-dominated and ruddered by the Muslim Brotherhood is waiting in the wings to rise into the vacuum. The Brotherhood’s most famous slogan is, “Islam is the solution.” It’s credo remains, “Allah is our objective; the Quran is our constitution, the Prophet [i.e. Mohammed] is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of Allah is the highest of our aspirations.”
This Muslim path, Egypt-Gaza-Syria would roughly follow a pathway prophesied some 2700 years ago by the Prophet Isaiah, “In that day there will be a highway from Egypt to Assyria and the Assyrian will come into Egypt and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians will serve with the Assyrians” (Isaiah 19:23). Yet this prophesied highway will be one of holiness and blessing, “In that day Israel will be one of three with Egypt and Assyria-a blessing in the midst of the land, whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying ‘Blessed is Egypt My people, and Assyria the work of My hands, and Israel My inheritance.”
PLEASE PRAY:*
That God’s Kingdom come along the way extending from Egypt through Israel and northward through Syria and Iraq.
*That grace and truth will be ministered to many during these days of turmoil and upheaval-that many would come to a knowledge of Jesus.
*That radical Islam will not be able to consume Egypt. Pray for the Christians in each of these lands-Egypt, Gaza and Syria. We know of houses of prayer which are forming along this Isaiah 19 route.
Pray that communities of Believers will connect and be encouraged, mature in their faith and bear up under persecution.
Pray that the way will be prepared for God’s future work there.

THIS WEEK’S TORAH PORTION:
From ancient times there has been a weekly portion (Parashah) from the first five books of Moses (The Torah) and an ending (Haftarah) from the Prophets read on the Sabbath in synagogues around the world.
This portion is given a Hebrew name drawn from the opening words of the Torah passage. An illustration of this practice appears to have been recorded in Luke 4:16 where Yeshua (Jesus) arrived in the synagogue in Nazareth and was asked to read the portion (Isaiah 61) from the Prophets.
We have found that in perusing these weekly readings, not only are we provided opportunity to identify in the context of God’s Word with millions of Jewish people around the world, but very often the Holy Spirit will illumine specific passages pertinent that week in our intercession for the Land and people of Israel. All texts are those of English translations of the Scriptures.
The readings for this week are called Toldot (Generations):
TORAH: Genesis 25:19-28:9
HAFTARAH : Malachi 1:1-2:7
Well at the site of ancient Be’er Sheva
“Then he [Isaac] went up from there to Beersheba. And YHVH appeared to him the same night and said, ‘I am the God of your father Abraham; do not fear, for I am with you. I will bless you and multiply your descendants for My servant Abraham’s sake.’
So he built an altar there and called on the name of YHVH, and he pitched his tent there; and there Isaac’s servants dug a well. Genesis 26:23-25. *
Genesis 25:22. “If this is so, why then am I . . .?” So she went to inquire of the LORD.” Please pray for believers in Israel.that when faced with the perplexity of inexplicable conflicts (of which there are many in Israel), we would be quick to “go to inquire of the LORD” rather than leaning to our own understandings as to how to respond.
*Genesis 26:18. “And Isaac dug again the wells of water which they had dug in the days of Abraham his father, for the Philistines had stopped them up after the death of Abraham. He called them by the names which his father had called them.”
Isaac’s life is much associated with “wells”-from when his future wife Rebekah was revealed at one (24:45) and he came from another to meet her (24:62), to the reopening of old wells and the digging of new ones recorded in chapter 26. PLEASE PRAY for the reopening of ancient sources of truth and blessing and song in returned Israel-as well as discovery of new reservoirs of understanding reserved for latter days (Daniel 12:9). Pray for rediscovery and proper identification of the well of “Righteousness through Faith” (Genesis 15:6); that Israel will find and open again her true “Well of Salvation”.and His Name. “Behold, God is my salvation (Heb: Yeshu’ah), I will trust and not be afraid; for YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation. Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of Salvation.”
*Genesis 26:19-22. “Also Isaac’s servants dug in the valley, and found a well of running water there. But the herdsmen of Gerar quarreled.so he called the name of the well ESEK (“Exploited”, “deprived of”). Then they dug another well, and they quarreled over that one also, so he called its name SITNAH (“Sataned”, “Accusation”, “Enmity”, “Adversary”). And he moved from there and dug another well, and they did not quarrel over it. So he called its name REHOBOTH (“space”, “widenesses”), because he said, ‘For now the LORD has made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.'”
For over a hundred years the returned Hebrews have faced quarreling, exploitation, and deprivation over the land God has promised to them. As they have attempted to become rooted, and to re-dig the “wells” of their ancient homeland, they have continued to be accused by the world and to be surrounded by enemies and adversaries. PLEASE PRAY that more and more of returned Israel will come to realize that we will never “make room for ourselves” in this Land.
Alone, we have no idea how to come into such a relationship with those already dwelling in the land as will quell the quarreling. We must turn in faith to our LORD, Who alone can “make room for us” (and those yet to come) to become permanently rooted and “fruitful in the Land”.
*Malachi 2:7. “For the lips of a priest should preserve and guard knowledge, and people should seek the law from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the LORD of armies.” Revelation 1:6 says that the One who loves us and washed us from our sins in His own blood has made us into a kingdom of priests. As such, our mouths are of exceptional importance-guarding knowledge for release to those seekers with whom God will bring us into contact. The Hebrew word for “messenger” here is exactly the same as that often translated “angel”. Angels are heavenly messengers sent to “minister to those who will inherit Salvation”.
As priests before God we are often called to work hand in hand with these supernatural beings. PLEASE PRAY for a keen understanding of our responsibility as priestly messengers of God to His people-and that in the power of the Holy Spirit we move in step with His angels–while keeping a close guard on our tongues.

November 23, 2011.
Rees Howells was a great intercessor from Wales. He stood in the gap during World War II, Battle of Britain, for the cause of the Gospel and for an important college for him. God was faithful and did not allow any bomb to fall upon the college property throughout the war, and hence complete safety was given to all the children and staff. (From ‘Rees Howells Intercessor’ by Norman Grubb.) Today, I felt the Holy Spirit impress me to call for intercessors on behalf of the poorest of the poor children in the Philippines. These very children, over 600 of them, can be used by the Lord to transform their nation from poverty and corruption to a nation of righteousness and prosperity. I believe the Lord asked me to ask the question of you, “Is there anyone who will stand in the gap for these children?”
Ezekiel 22:30 (NLT) “I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn’t have to destroy the land, but I found no one.” Ras Robinson – Become a monthly Vision Bearer with us for the Philippine children: Be A Vision Bearer.

Thanks Ras for the call to intercession; I believe it is a word from the heart of God for children in the Philippines as well as children around the world.
The NEXT GENERATIONS NEED PRAYER and it is IMPORTANT we all pray into them NOW!
Fullness in Christ has an awesome children’s outreach. Can’t you forfeit a lunch, coffee, an article of clothing…something you really don’t need, to help out this ministry and the ministries I have given you LINKS to on each blog post.
GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU TO BLESS OTHERS! 🙂
