GLORY TO GOD
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation (the atoning sacrifice) for our sins.
When the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
The Word became flesh and dwealt among us, and we BEHELD HIS GLORY, the glory as the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Great is the mystery of godliness; God was manifested in the flesh (Titus 3: 4; Jeremiah 31: 3; 1 John 4: 9, 10; Galatians 4: 4, 5; John 1: 14; 1 Timothy 3: 16).
This Christmas Eve afternoon, my dog, Yoshi and I went for our walk. Neighbors were fishing by the (Yoshi’s) pond so in order to keep the peace between man and dog, I took a different path. Yoshi was running about trying to pick up the scent of deer and I was looking around and then up. The sky was beautiful! I really believe God revealed some of the angels of heaven to me this afternoon. The pictures I captured via my phone can not do justice to what I saw. I thank You, Lord, for Your love.

We find it a happy privilege to greet you in the Name of the Lord this 2011 Christmas season.
This is our eighth Christmas together as husband & wife and, as usual, it has been a BUSY year for us. We moved (by the Lord’s direction) in June of 2008 from western Washington to southwest Missouri. From that home in the Midwest, we travelled several times to the West and to the East. One trip took us to New England and even to the southern portions of Quebec and Ontario. Then in March of this year we were directed, by Him, to move to southwest Idaho for His multi-faceted reasons. So we packed-up and tried to leave on March 31st, but the movers NEVER showed-up. We ended-up moving ourselves in the largest U-Haul truck and towing their largest trailer behind it. I drove the rental truck with our faithful Schnauzer, Max, “riding shotgun” in the passenger seat. Jeanette followed behind in our car. We had hoped that we would have both been driving to the Gem State in the comfort of our car.
We are now living in the small town of Star, Idaho which is ten miles or so west-northwest of Boise. Incidentally we found this wonderful home on the Internet. The previous tenant of this rental home had placed a listing on Craigslist – complete with pictures and the street address. After “looking” at the pictures and satellite images of this address as well as talking with the property manager, we rented the house.
Our home has three bedrooms, two baths, a moderate-sized kitchen with an adjoining pantry and a double-car garage. There is even a fenced back yard for Max, although he much prefers to be with us in the house. We have been blessed with quite a large living room in which we have our weekly fellowship gatherings. If you’re coming this way please do let us know!
Our Father blessed us this year, just as He has done in previous years, by leading us to so many wonderful people, who are precious expressions of the Father in the flesh.
Family news:
Paul, Carla and their three daughters – Casia, Ariel and Willow are living in nearby Nampa, Idaho. Paul was recently laid-off from a trucking company. He just secured another job, also as a semi-truck driver. He will be primarily driving throughout the western United States.
Aaron is now living in Bellingham, Washington and is working in the construction industry. He and his fiancée Leah are planning to be married in the Fall of 2012.
Kim, Steve and their daughter Kara are fine and live north of Seattle in Everett, Washington. Steve continues to sell motor homes. Kim is working full-time as a teaching assistant. She is working with children who are developmentally disabled and just loves her job. Kara is now 18-years old and in college at the Bothell campus of the University of Washington. She is doing very well in school. Brad, his wife Erinne and their daughter Gabrielle are living in northern Virginia. Brad and Erinne both served in Iraq and then were stationed in Maryland before leaving the Air Force. They are each working for companies near their home.
This coming year Creation will see ever-increasing visible manifestations of Our Father through His Son as He is revealed through His sons. The Daystar has and is risen and in Him we ARE risen indeed. This IS The Day that the Lord has made and we do rejoice and are glad in it. It is past Daybreak. The New Day has dawned and the Light of Life is pouring forth and flooding all of the Earth. Initially within us, this little piece of Earth that we have seen as being ourselves; then outward to all of Creation. So do not despise what can seem to be a time of small beginnings. Does not every river have humble origins? He never ceases to watch over each one of us and we will accomplish the purpose (His purpose) for which we were sent. So as just as His eye is continually on each one of us; let our eye be single and fixed on Him. Then we can truly see as we are seen. Glory and Praise to the Lamb that was slain.
Please have a joyous Christmas and a wonderful New Year. Experience the consuming Love of the wonderful Presence of Our Lord within and an ever-growing realization of being truly one with Our Father in His Son – which is glorious beyond words!!

The Heavenly Host: Army
“Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests'” (Luke 2:13-14).
Scripture Focus: Hebrews 1:4-9
God sent out the entire angelic army of heaven – not one left behind – for the most gladsome event ever: the birth of the Savior! How many shepherds were there? I suppose it could have been as few as two. Surely, they were outnumbered. Sheer terror seized them. Every angelic visitation in the Bible struck fear in the heart of the visited. How much more so would thousands upon thousands of celestial beings who came calling in the dead of night?
Artists depicting angels have fixed our minds on soft, serene individuals, baby-like or girlish, the likes of which you may find on Christmas cards or atop a Christmas tree. These representations wilt compared to the dazzling multitude of heavenly soldiers indicated by the Greek translation of “heavenly host.” Reducing God’s messengers to sweet, winged creatures also reduces the impact of this world-changing point of time. We do not want to lessen the defining moment of all history…the moment that identifies us as worshippers of the Christ, proclaiming “Glory to God in the highest!”

PRAYER REQUESTS: DECEMBER 26-31
In this last week of the year, please join in prayer for the work of the Honduras Church Planting Movement project for the upcoming year of 2012.
Thanksgiving for God’s work in 2011:
1. Many Discovery Bible Studies have become churches of believers this year. In all, there are now 159 new churches as a result of this project, and almost all of them were planted this year….98 of them in the 6 months between May and the end of October! In the Discovery Bible Studies and new Churches, we believe there are nearly 6,500 people being impacted!
2. New open doors to train new fellowships/denominations/groups!
3. In the midst of much danger, our top level team in Honduras was protected from violence.
4. Many people have become a part of this prayer group, the 300 prayer team. More prayer is rising up than ever before, and prayers are being answered!
5. After many years of trying, Juanita Travis received her visa to come to the US.
Looking Forward into 2012:
1. Pray for all who are involved in WME, its leadership at home and in the Honduras project. Pray for all the office staff of WME at the Benton, KY office. Pray for J.T. and Noretta Parish, our founders and chairman of the board. Pray for David and Patty Parish, the President of WME. Pray for Lindsay and Jacob Harlan, Lindsay is David and Patty’s daughter and is a secretary at WME and in charge of developing WME’s promotional materials (she is also the one who sends you this prayer list each week). Pray for Jenny and Kevin DeMumbree and their teenagers Hunter and Katie. Jenny is the secretary and accountant for WME. These are the office staff and administration of this work. Please pray for health and protection and wisdom for all of us at the WME office.
2. Pray for the Strategy coordination team of the Honduras Project: Randy and Linda Travis, and Keith and Juanita Travis. Pray for health, provision, wisdom and protection.
3. Pray for the Top Level leaders in Honduras: Adiel, Jacobo, Mario, Oscar, Daniel, Carlos, and “Beto”. There are many other leaders and potential leaders being mentored by them. Pray for all the leaders at every level. Pray for wisdom, health, protection, provision, and the anointing and guidance of the Holy Spirit to see continued church multiplication and exponential disciple making in Honduras.
4. Pray for the special Training to take place in La Ceiba, Honduras on February 16-19, 2012. As many as 9 denominations may be impacted and there is the potential of seeing a result of hundreds of new churches because of this catalytic event. Pray for all the preparations for this training, and for a special financial provision to make this training and the equipment for it possible.
5. Pray that hundreds more intercessors will become a part of this online prayer group so that many hours of prayer are lifted up each day for this work.
6. Pray for the Financial provision for the Honduras Project for 2012. The opportunities are great and the need is as well.
7. Pray that multiple Church Planting Movements will result from all of this work that will saturate Honduras, and also all the countries of the Central America area.

I am always so happy to hear all that God is accomplishing; in our personal lives, but more importantly, in what He is doing among all the people groups (ethnos) through many such as these men and women of God! Praise the Lord!
As I read your prayer requests and praise reports David, I think of Ephesians 4.
Verse 7 is interesting: “But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.”
I know you personally and I know the greatness of your love for Christ and your heart desire to see His Commission fulfilled. Because of this measure of love you have, you have a great abundance of GRACE in this ministry; so do those you have chosen to lead with you. It is a project that is God directed so it cannot fail. 🙂
Verse 15, 16,
“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: from whom the WHOLE BODY FITLY JOINED TOGETHER and COMPACTED by that which every joint supplieth, according to the EFFECTUAL WORKING in the measure of every part, MAKETH INCREASE of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
God’s Word is true and I pray His BLESSING over all aspects of this ministry, in Jesus name.
