Rejoice in the LORD; praise the LORD; sing unto Him a new song!
For the word of the Lord is right; and all His works are done in truth. He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. He gathereth the waters of the sea together as a heap; He layeth up the depth in storehouses.
Let all the earth fear the LORD; let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him. For He spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.
The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to naught: He maketh the devices of the people of none effect. The counsel of the LORD standeth forever, the thoughts of His heart to all generations. BLESSED is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance. (from Psalm 33)
God has given me some thoughts for the coming year, 2012. I will be sharing them with you in a day or so. The title and the passage chosen today can be considered as an introduction to the word Holy Spirit is bringing together in my spirit these past several days. God BLESS you this moment in this day!
I always enjoy reading your messages. I know they are from the word of God and I appreciate them so very much. They are encouragment to me. Thank you in the Lord.

“ABSOLUTE SURRENDER TO GOD”
Absolute surrender means that you recognize and accept that you are not your own but that you belong to God because you were bought for a price (1 Cor. 6:19-20, Gal. 3:26). Full surrender means that you no longer live but Christ lives in you (Gal. 2:20). Keeping God’s Commands is what counts (1 Cor. 7:19), aim for perfection (2 Cor. 13:11) and trust that God is able to make the right decisions in your life (Eph. 3:20). God says to surrender our whole spirit, soul and body (1 Thess. 5:23), listen to His voice (John 10:27) and put the Words in the Bible into practice (Matt, 7:24). The Word of God will direct your footsteps (Ps. 119:133), for the rest of your life (Ps. 48:12, Isa. 58:11) when you absolutely surrender to God.
This takes prayer and more prayer (Col. 4:2). You must give not only your soul to God for salvation but also your choices such as what job to take, where to live and all decisions made in your life. This will take wisdom which God will give to you, however, your must believe that God can do all things when you ask and not doubt (Jms. 1:5-8). You must learn to discern the spirits to make sure they are from God (1 Jh. 4:1-6) meaning to check what you “hear” against the Bible (Jms 3:13-18), 1:22). You will be doing all of this on faith (Heb. 11:1-40) and daily as it is not a one time thing as the Apostle Paul will attest to (Rom. 7:15-25).
If not convinced by the New Testament Scriptures, then read Jeremiah chapter 17. God makes it very plain that the only way to escape calamity is to surrender to God’s will. “Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the Lord” (Jer. 17:5). “Through your own fault you will lose the inheritance I gave you” (Jer. 17:4). Surrender your heart (Job 11:13-15), surrender your life spiritually (Lk. 9:23-24), serve the Lord only (Jos. 24:15), follow His Commandments (Jh. 12:26), obey God (Acts 5:29), commit your ways to the Lord (Ps. 37:4-7) and follow Him (Jer. 10:23, Pro. 14:12, Eph. 5:1, Jh. 10:27). DAILY!
