Please take a moment and read Acts 4.  I believe the verses (23-33) are to reinforce the UNITY that is required for the body of Christ both now and in the near future.  It is not an option, it is a requirment that God is looking for in order to  pour out His Spirit on the remnant whose hearts are prepared to receive.  Are you to be part of this magnificant revelation of God’s grace on mankind?  It is part of His initial COVENANT with mankind and it has not changed throughout the ages; a circumcision of our hearts  (Genesis the beginning right through to Revelation the end). And I will give them ONE HEART (a new heart) and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony (unnaturally  hardened) heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh (sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God) (Ezekiel 11: 19; 36: 26; 2 Corinthians 3: 3).  Strip yourselves of your former nature which characterized your previous manner of life and becomes corrupt through lusts and desires that spring from delusion; and be CONSTANTLY renewed in the spirit of your mind.  And put ont he new nature created in God’s image, (Godlike) in true righteousness and holiness (Ephesians 4: 22-24). In Acts 2 we read about the UNITY there was between 12o who were BELIEVING and TRUSTING God for the outpouring of His Spirit and in in verse 1-4 we see this manifested in POWER.  Then we go on to Acts 4 and we read that Peter and John were placed in prison for preaching and for the signs and miracles that followed.  When they were released, they were telling a group of their friends about this and they all LIFTED THEIR VOICES TOGETHER WITH ONE UNITED MIND TO GOD…praising Him and thanking Him.  The verses I now highlight, I believe are also just a foreshadow of what we are going to see in the coming days.  In fact, I declare that these verses do not even come close to what God is planning to do…in fact, what He has already started throughout all the nations of the world. I AM EXCITED and I KNOW IT IS SO…are you ready to receive; is your heart prepared? And now, Lord, observe their threats and grant to your BONDSERVANTS (full freedom) to declare Your message FEARLESSLY.  While You stretch out Your hand to cure and to preform signs and wonders through the AUTHORITY and by the POWER of the name of Your holy Child and Servant Jesus.  And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage.  Now the company of believers was of ONE HEART and SOUL, and not one of them claimed that anything which he possessed was exclusively his own, but EVERYTHING THEY HAD was in common and FOR THE USE OF ALL (Acts 4: 29-33; also see Ephesians 2: 19-22).    Many today do NOT believe this kind of FREEDOM and VICTORY we have in Christ is for us today and if you look at the church as a whole; that is obvious. IT IS FOR US!!!   I am hear to tell you, “you have not heard or seen anything yet”!   I had a prophetic word spoken over my life 6 years ago and I claim it as a NOW WORD:  “Judy, what eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered intot he heart of man, (all that) God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him (who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed).  Yet to you God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit”  (taken from 1 Corinthians 2: 9, 10).  I have held onto God’s  promise and I KNOW it has always been mine, praise God!!!   I desire to share it with any of you who feel you are ready to be part of this NEW DAY in Christ Jesus!  God bless you on your personal journey with Him; it’ll be so much better than you can possibly imagine!  🙂

  1. Huge amen, Judy, and yes this journey has been so much better than I could even thought or imagine, blessings and love, Ken

    • Same here Ken, and I look to each day and what He has prepared for me…trusting I will have the “eyes” to see and the “ears” to hear Him! We are so very blessed; I rejoice in who I am in Him.

  2. HCPM Prayer Request April 9-13 2012
Pray for J and family in Cosiris that they will continue doing the studies and start some more.
Pray for the village of Capuca. Pray that they will continue studying and that they will start more studies. Pray for understanding.
Pray E and family in Cerro Negro to make a firm decision to follow Christ.
Pray M and family in Intibuca that they will start studies with others and they will decide to follow Christ.
From time to time that we ask for prayer in finding persons of peace. This is because we want to sow in “good ground”. Persons of Peace are people that God has prepared to receive the Gospel for that community. If God has prepared them the He can lead us to them. Pray that all the ongoing DBS will find new persons of peace in new communities.
Pray for all the studies that God will give revelation to the people concerning His Word. This is something only He can do. Pray that God will give the people a STRONG desire to obey His Word in ALL things. We know that he gives us a free will, and in the end, we each choose the path we will take. However, the scriptures says even the heart of the king is in the hands of the Lord. So He can, and will, influence people, and give them desires to reach out to Him and to begin obeying Him.
We used to have bible study group in El Florido, Copan. They decided to stop studying. Pray that they will have a change of heart and start back meeting again. Pray that they will get a vision to multiply and start many new studies themselves.
Pray for the studies among the Pech Indians. Last time we had count there were around 30 DBS’s among them. Pray that they will spread the Word among this tribe of Indians in Honduras.
Pray for the all the DBS’s that Beto (not real name) and his group (we trained them) have started. Pray that these studies will multiply greatly and that many souls will be saved.
Pray for the WME conference taking place 13-15 of this month.
Pray for a family member of ours who just found out that he has lymphoma. Pray especially for healing and for this persons spiritual condition.

Our planned speaker, Syvelle Phillips of Evangel Bible Translators, is unable to be with us at the conference because of some health issues. He has recently been hospitalized, and although he is home and recovering very well, his physician has told him that he cannot make the trip. We hope that all of you will keep Bro. Syvelle in your prayers. He is a great man of God, who we love and respect very much. Bro. Phillips has been a personal inspiration to me for many years. May God bless him and his wonderful wife, Lovie, with complete healing and health.
Because of that, our speaking line up has changed a bit, but we believe that God has provided some other key men of God to bring some Key words to the conference this year. Here is our updated schedule of speakers:

  3. Thank you for the update David! It is a blessing to hear all that is happening in Honduras and I believe that things will always look the darkest just before the dawn…so I BELIEVE that seed has been planted and Holy Spirit will water it and GOD will cause it to grow and increase into a great harvest for His kingdom. I really like the passage in Proverbs 21: 1…”The kings heart is in the hand of the Lord; He turns it whichever way He will.” It is a passage we can pray for lost loved ones; for leaders of nations, etc.

I am am so happy that it’s time for the Mission Conference and that I will be able to attend some of the services. It is one thing I have really been blessed by in both Christian Fellowship (when they hosted it) and also by Oasis (since they have started hosting it). It is a joy to hear what is happening all over the world and to see the many lives that are being impacted by the Gospel. I am always touched by the stories that the missionaries bring to share and my FAITH is so increased when I see what is accomplished through the sacrfice of so many…the givers, the sowers, the water boys/girls, and the harvesters….ALL having a part to play in God’s field. I look forward to hearing what three of my favorite speakers will have to share this year; I KNOW it will be a blessing!
