EARLY IN THE MORNING
For the past two weeks I have been getting up very early to study God’s Word and to pray. I believe Holy Spirit has been revealing through the passages of scripture an urgent and NOW message for His “bride”, the Church. Each and every morning the phrase “in the early morning” has shown up in at least one verse to the degree that I am now looking for it and I have been asking Him, “Why Lord? Is this for me or is it to be shared?”
God’s Word is for everyone so I am going to share what He has already spoken and His words are ETERNAL; they are the same and hold the same meaning as they did from creation right up to this moment in time. I have chosen some passages and some meanings to help bring this word to you from both the Old (Hebrew origin) and New Testament (Greek origin) that I hope will give you an idea of what I believe the Lord is pointing out to us right NOW.
” Awake, my glory (my inner self); awake, harp and lyre! I will awake right early (I will awaken the dawn)! I will praise and give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations. For Your mercy and loving-kindness are great, reaching to the heavens, and Your truth and faithfulness to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let Your glory be over all the earth (Psalm 57: 8-11; repeated in 108: 1-5).
Oh satisfy us with Your mercy and loving-kindness in the morning (NOW before we are older), that we may rejoice and be glad all our days… Let Your work (the signs of Your power) be revealed to Your servants, and Your (glorious) majesty to their children …yes, the work of our hands, confirm and establish it (Psalm 91: 14-17).
The person who has My commands and keeps them is one who (really) loves Me; and whoever (really) loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I (too) will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. (I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.) (John 14: 21).
The Hebrew meanings of “early” : to incline (the shoulder to a burden); between the shoulders (as place of burdens); to start early in the morning (arise, be up, get (oneself) up. The Greek meanings are: Keep awake, be vigilant, watch; resurgence from death (resurrection).
Mark 13: 33-37 tells me what I believe He is saying to His people this VERY HOUR: “Be on your guard (constantly alert), and watch, and pray; for you do not know when the time will come. It is like a man (already) going on a journey; when he leaves home, he puts his servants in charge (that’s you and me), each with his own particular task, and he gives orders to the doorkeeper to be constantly alert and on the watch. Therefore watch (give strict attention, be cautious and alert), for you do not know when the Master of the house is coming–in the evening, or at midnight, or at cockcrowing (dawn), or in the morning — (Watch, I say) lest He come suddenly and unexpectedly and find you ASLEEP. And what I say to you I say to everybody: Watch!”
The Greek meaning of “watch”: sleepless/ness (keep awake), spiritual stupor (inferior position/ condition); guarding (the place/condition); preserve, obey (keep self), grow, produce, spring up.
What do I personally feel in my spirit; what is He saying to me: I believe with all my heart that He is telling me that He is very close to returning for His Bride. He is calling His sons and His daughters to prepare themselves; to be seeking Him and hearing what He is saying to each one of us and to the “body” as a whole. He is warning us to “STAY ALERT; to seek Him early with ears that will hear what He is planning. That we are not to lose what He has already given to us; that we are to preserve it as well as glean more from His Truth. He is saying: “Many of you have become drowsy and complacent; some of you have even fallen asleep. I am telling you, I AM STANDING AT THE DOOR and I WILL NOT TARRY: GET READY, the morning is here!”

Prayer Request: July 15th through July 22nd 2012
1. Pray for Beto. He is a key leader in Honduras. Pray for his safety as he travels for the next few weeks. He is in the U.S. briefly. Pray as well for Randy Travis, Keith Travis, and David Parish as they are together for strategy meetings and will be traveling to meet with Beto for a strategy planning meeting. Pray for wisdom and leadership from the Holy Spirit during these meetings this week.
2. Pray for J. Pray for his salvation and for Bible studies to be started in his home.
3. Pray for the Honduran church planting team. Pray for Anointing, Power, Encouragement, Strength and Vision.
4. Pray for the department (State) of Santa Barbara. Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Pray that the Lord would use Daniel in miraculous ways as he ministers in this area.
5. Continue to Pray for V and A. Pray for their salvation and health.
6. Pray for the development of new ministry opportunities in various different countries. Pray the Lord would give us wisdom as we step through open doors.
7. Pray for a town called Nueva Frontera. Pray for a powerful revival and outpouring of the Holy Spirit as Oscar Hernandez and his wife minister there.
8. Continue to pray for J. Pray the Lord would bring him to repentance and salvation.
9. Pray for Pastor Larry Starnes and Family as they mourn the loss of Sis. Judy Starnes. Pray for supernatural strength, peace and comfort of the Holy Spirit. Remember Oasis Christian Center which is one of our key Partnering churches during this time.

Praying for the out reach ministries and all that is being accomplished in and through the faithful service of so many. He has His thoughts and plans and will adjust them as we all step out in faith TRUSTING in His ability to finish all the jobs He has started through so many. God bless each of the team members and I pray God continues to give His message to HEARING ears and OBEDIENT servants who are staying UP CLOSE & PERSONAL IN HIM 🙂

Judy, I completely and totally agree, and in all that you have said, I find complete confirmation…. I have been awakened the last few mornings at the same time: 4:22AM…and this morning I got right up…but kept trying to fall asleep as I sat with Him/His WORD….I have had the thought/feeling/impression many, many times the past few months that He is returning VERY, VERY SOON. I am like one who is almost asleep and HE is AWAKENING ME NOW to seek HIS FACE! How I rejoice in HIM. THANKS for this email! Blessings!
