I love Ephesians; to me it is the Divine Model for who the Body of Christ is and where the Body of Christ is to be. There are definite commands, exhortations, power-filled promises and words that God EXPECTS His ‘elect’ to live and breathe. The promises are based in and through our position and relationship with Christ. If you have no relationship with Jesus Christ other than a superficial knowing of Him, or you have no knowledge of Who Jesus Christ is and what He has set out to be obeyed; then it is doubtful you are in a position to receive personal blessing from Him, nor can you expect to operate in what He desires His Church to walk in. In fact, I see it as the reason why the ‘western church’ fails to operate in the fullness of Christ. Our often ‘lukewarm relationship’ is ineffective and produces no manifestation of fruit in our personal lives or in our corporate body!
There are ‘pockets, or a remnant’ that I see as what is referred to as the ‘elect’ scattered throughout communities, cities, and nations. They are the ‘not just hearers of the Word, but also the obedient doers.’
Many people today dream of and want to operate in the ‘fullness of God’s manifested glory’ as the early Church of Acts did. However, I don’t believe God ever designed the Church to return simply to the standard at which it was birthed.
I look at God’s plan for His Church and read in Ephesians 3, “That you/we may really come to know through experience the love of Christ which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience; that you/we may be filled through all your/our being unto ALL THE FULLNESS OF GOD; having the richest measure of the Divine Presence and become WHOLLY FILLED and FLOODED WITH GOD HIMSELF! Now to HIM Who by the action of His power that is at work in us is able to carry out HIS PURPOSE and do SUPER-ABUNDANTLY, FAR OVER and ABOVE ALL that we dare ask or think …to Him be ALL THE GLORY IN THE CHURCH and in Jesus Christ though all generations forever and ever” (19-21)!
God wants to do exceedingly, abundantly above even this. The awakening that has already begun will not only break through to the original standard but also will keep going like an enormous eruption and take the Church way beyond anything we have ever dreamed of.
John 14 and listen to the words of Jesus Christ, “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone STEADFASTLY BELIEVES IN ME, he will himself be able to do the things that I do… AND he will be able to do EVEN GREATER things than these, because I go to the Father and I WILL DO (I Myself will grant) whatever you ask in MY NAME (as representing ALL that I AM), so that the Father may be glorified and extolled through the Son. YES, I WILL GRANT ( I Myself WILL DO for you) whatever you shall ask in My name (as presenting ALL THAT I AM). IF you really love Me, you will obey and keep My commands” (12-15).
Some will say you can’t do greater things than God; because He is God and we are human. Some say we are just able to be greater ‘in extent; more able to reach many with the Gospel because we have Holy Spirit indwelling us. Well, I do not see these words spoken by Jesus because they ‘limit God’s ability to do all things in and through us!’ I take His Word at face value and He says we WILL DO GREATER WORKS and He WILL DO SUPER-ABUNDANTLY MORE than we ask.
So, my question is, “Why aren’t we?”

DYNAMIC GOD: Never Changing; Always Moving
Posted in Uncategorized
Well Sister You are right on the money”why are we as the Body of Christ, His True Church, not doing what Jesus Christ did, and more. The same Holy Spirit that indwelt Him, and worked the many, many miracles, is the same Holy spirit that indwells us. Therefore We, His Body should be walking in the same anointing as Jesus did. What stops us is the same old same old…OUR UNBELIEF.
I’ve been reading a book by Andrew Murray on Divine Healing”, and part of what he says is that when Jesus walked this earth that miracles were common, accepted, and Grace to forgive sins was a part of “grace”.
Now grace is preached for forgiveness of sin and easily accepted, but how many sermons on “miracles” are preached or evidence of such.
So, CHURCH, believe what the whole word of God says and watch our God work miracles.
Blessings, bro ken
