And it came to pass from that time forth, that the half of my servants wrought in the work, and the other half of them held both the spears (Hb. to hurl, the iron point), the shields (Hb. to rebuke), and the bows (Hb. to hedge about, protector), and the habergeons (Hb. breastplate, to free):  and the rulers were behind all the house of Judah.  They which builded on the wall (Hb. to join, a wall of protection) , and they that bare burdens (Hb. to carry, strong in labour), with those that laded (Hb. borne,  burden), every one with one of his hands wrought in the work (Hb. despatch as a deputy,  a messenger, an ambassador), and with the other hand held a weapon (a missile of attack, a shoot of growth (branch)  Nehemiah 4: 16, 17.

Praise the Lord! 🙂

Finally, my brethern, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might, put on the WHOLE armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the WHOLE armour of God, that you may be able to WITHSTAND in the evil day, and having done all, TO STAND (Ephesians 6: 10-13).

This morning Yoshi saw two geese on the bank of this pond and he abruptly stopped and watched them.  He never took his eyes off them.  One was eating and the other us.  Yoshi stood absolutely still and sudddenly he noted the “watching goose” turn his head.  At that very instant he pushed off into a full run toward the two geese.  He actually lowered his body closer to the ground to keep from being spotted and I think to increase his speed as he charged onward.   As I watched his response to what he saw, God spoke this word that I want to share with you.   “Be very careful to never be caught off-guard in your day-to-day life.  The enemy will never give up any opportunity to attack one who lets his guard down; even for an instant.  Build yourself in My strength and in the power of My might.  Put on My complete armour and wear it at all times so that you will be able to STAND against the devil’s assault on your life and on the life of those you love.”

PARTS OF THE BODY

Oh the depths and riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!  How unfathomable are His judgments!  How untraceable are His ways!  For who has known the mind of the Lord and who has understood His thoughts, or has ever been His counselor?  Or who has first given God anything that he might be paid back or that he could claim a recompense?  For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things (all things originate with Him and come from Him: all things live through Him, and all things center in and consummate and end in Him).  To Him be glory forever!  Amen.  …  For as in one physical body we have many parts (oragns, members) and all of these parts do not have the same function or use, so we, numerous as we are, are one body in Christ (the Messiah) and individually we are parts  one of another (mutually dependent on one another).  Having gifts (faculties, talents, qualities) that differ according to the grace given us…let us use them…live in harmony with one another (Romans 11:33-13).

I really love to see  fish swimming about in an aquarium.  I am always amazed by the beauty God displays in each fish as well as in the overall effect of them swimming together.   It reminds me of the very small world in which we live and how all of us are unique and yet very much alike. God gives incredible variety through the various cultures, talents, personalities, and  gifts that will benefit the whole when we swim together.   He is able to look at the WHOLE EFFECT and  see  beauty of His creation.  We just need to flow in unity with the current of God’s incredible love!  🙂  

Together

That together you may unanimously with united hearts and one voice, praise and glorify God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah.  Welcome and receive to your hearts one another, then, even as Christ has welcomed and received you, for the glory of God. … Now on one of those days Peter rose among the brethern, the whole number of whom gathered together was about a hundred and twenty.  All of these with their minds in full agreement devoted themselves steadfastly to prayer. When SUDDENLY there came a sound from heaven like the rushing of a violent tempest blast, and it filled the whole house in which they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues resembling FIRE, which were separated and distributed and which settled on each of them.  AND THEY WERE ALL FILLED (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the SPIRIT KEPT GIVING them clear and loud expression.  (Romans 15: 6,7; Acts 1: 15, 14, 2: 2-4)

God has recently been giving me tangible examples of the prevalent DISUNITY among the members of the body of Christ.  It is not only in the sheep; but also runs rampant among the shepherds.  This is a demonic force that is successfully weakening and dividing the strength and power that COULD BE OURS as joint heirs in Jesus!  For God’s Word tells us that the Gospel can be covered up with a veil that hinders our knowledge of Him (God).  It is hidden only to those perishing; it is obscured to those who are SPIRITUALLY DYING; and veiled to those who are lost.  For the god of this world has blinded the UNBELIEVERS minds, that they should not discern the truth which prevents them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ, who is  the image and likeness of God (2 Corinthian 4: 3-5).

I have been called to minister in Nakuru, Kenya, to speak and minister in a Women’s conference in Eldoret, Kenya, and to minister in Uganda.  God has been downloading the “global” message to the people of Eastern Africa and I am CONVINCED (FULLY BELIEVE) that Holy Spirit will be pouring out in CLEAR and LOUD EXPRESSION of the Father’s heart in these meetings.  I am EXPECTING REVIVAL of great magnitude to occur!  This time spent in UNITY (ONE SPIRIT: ONE ACCORD) of all the members of the body of Christ in these areas of Africa will cause a HOLY SPIRIT TSUNAMI of thousands upon thousands to be delivered, healed, and set free from ALL demonic oppression and rule, in Jesus name! The Church in Africa WILL KNOW what their POSITION IS IN CHRIST and they WILL ARISE as BRIGHT STARS, illuminating the darkness around them.  WHY IN AFRICA?  Because there is GREAT SPIRITUAL HUNGER in the people…they are CALLING OUT TO GOD; they recognize their NEED for Him and they are EXPECTING and TRUSTING IN HIS ABILITY to bring LIFE to the people!  (Ephesians 2: 18-22; 1: 5-7)

I personally pray for the church as a whole and one prayer I feel speaks to the spiritual apathy today is Ephesians 1: 17-23.   I BELIEVE THERE IS A REMNANT WHO HEAR AND BELIEVE; RISE UP INTO YOUR POSITION AND AUTHORITY IN CHRIST NOW!

Everlasting Joy

The Lord would say unto you, unto me:   “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it flow the springs of life.  Put far from you pointless and perverse speech.  Let your eyes look straight ahead.  Go forward unafraid…that is your direction!  Forget the past, stretch out beyond your capacity, reach toward the high calling to which I have called you.  Strive for mastery and perfection.  Have a single eye toward Me; let there be no darkness in you.  Illuminate the place in which you work, stand, and walk.  Do not feel I have called you to something unattainable, for I make all things possible.  It is not through rushing, striving, or busyness that it is possible but through My power…and your availability.”

A few weeks ago I felt that it was time to try and get a free clinic into operation in the county where we live.  The clinic would be in place to provide free health care for the working poor; for those who are doing their best to make it without relying on government assistance.  I prayed about it and began doing some of the preliminary things and THEN GOD took over!  Not once have I felt overburdened with the mundane tasks that needed to be done and I want to publically declare that God did it all!  In just this short time frame the city council, county officials, hospital board, and many volunteers have joined in with their support of this project.  We were given a building which was a clinic that was vacant and it is perfect for what is being proposed.  I believe and proclaim that this clinic will be up and running before the year is over and I give God all the glory and praise!

I have come to realize over the years I have been serving Him, that He is faithful to His promises.  He is there for any of you who dare to believe and stand in your faith!  TRUST HIM!

Be Vigilant

And He (Jesus, the Christ) came and took the book out of the right hand of Him (God, the Father) that sat upon the throne, and when He had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having everyone of them harps, and golden vials filled with odours, which are the prayers of the saints.  And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; and hast made us unto God kings and priests: and we shall reign on earth.  (Revelation 5: 7-10)    BUT GOD, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us TOGETHER with Christ, and hath raised us up together, and made us SIT together in heavenly places IN CHRIST JESUS:  that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in hIs kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.  (Ephesians 2: 4-7)

The Lord has been giving me fresh manna these past weeks and I am so excited in my spirit with the POSITION the church is in!  We sit with Christ in heavenly places and He is at the right hand of the Father…meaning SO ARE WE!  If you and  I are sitting with Christ then we are together FAR ABOVE ALL principality, and power, and might, and dominion, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.  God has put all things under Jesus feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things TO THE CHURCH, which is Christ’s body and His body operates in the fullness of who He is.  THEREFORE, WE HAVE THE SAME AUTHORITY OVER ALL THINGS AS WAS GIVEN TO JESUS (Matthew 28: 18; Luke 10: 18-20)!

With my natural eyes I see the body of Christ as pretty weak; however, with my SPIRITUAL EYES,  I see a GLORIOUSLY TRIUMPHANT church emerging in ever increasing POWER!  God has His people everywhere and right NOW He IS POURING OUT and is going to POUR OUT MORE of His glory on His church.  ARE YOU READY TO RECEIVE ALL HE HAS GIVEN YOU?

His word to you, to me is, “If you are not ready, ask for Holy Spirit to help you get ready!  Time is short and there is MUCH to be done before I return to collect My GLORIOUS Bride!” 

Church, do not give the enemy any place in you; be vigilant, be sober; resist, and stand in your personal and corporate authority, in Christ Jesus.

Fullness of Joy

“I will bless the LORD always before me: because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.  Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. … Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy Presence IS fullness of  joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore”  (Psalm 16: 8,9, 11)

FRUIT

I am the vine, ye are the branches:  He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit:  for without Me ye can do nothing.  If ye abide(live) in Me, and My words abide (live) in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.  Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit:  so shall ye be My disciples (John 15:  5, 7, 8).  But the fruit of the Spirit is love,  joy,  peace,  longsuffering,  gentleness,  goodness,  faith,  meekness, temperance:  agianst such there is no law (Galatians 5: 22,23).  God is a Spirit:  and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (John 4: 24).

As Christians, we are to do good.  We know that Jesus came NOT to be ministered unto but to minister unto others and we are to follow His example.  An unfruitful branch is cut off and cast into the fire, it is withered and useless.  Most of us long to bear much fruit that our Father might be glorified.  How do we accomplish this in our daily walk?  Jesus tells us the answer:  If we abide in Him (submit self to Him, trust Him, hear Him, obey Him, believe Him, etc), and His WORD abides in us (our daily bread that feeds our spirit and brings the nourishment of  wisdom, knowledge, and understanding) THEN, we can ask for anything and can expect an answer.   

Staying in God’s Presence + staying in His Word (in order to know and understand all that is available to us) = PRAYER  and through it MUCH FRUIT is produced!  Praise the Lord!

These children represent some of the manifested ” fruit” of the prayer-filled lives of Pastor Joseph and his wife Fridah who are positioned in Nakuru, Kenya.  Prayer is supplication on behalf of others and all of us have an open door to do this ministry of intercession!  It is one thing for us to work, as Fridah and Joseph and the others involved have done:  it is another thing for God to work. 

Fruit Of The Spirit

Prayer moves away obstacles that hinder God from showering exceeding, abundant blessing into the lives of those in need!

Prayer brings forth FRUIT (increased love, joy, peace, patience, humility, kindness, etc.) in the lives of those who do the praying for they are able to see the physical and spirtual provisions of God for His children.

Please pray and provide what you can for those who have greater needs than you…just watch what God will do!  🙂

Serious Business

Jacob exclaimed, “You are robbing me of my children!  Joseph is gone!  Simeon is gone!  And now you want to take Benjamin, too.  Everything is going against me!”  (Genesis 42: 36).    And Joshua said, Alas, O Lord GOD, wherefore hast thou at all brought this people over Jordan, to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites, to destroy us?  would to God we had been content, and dwelt on the other side of Jordan!  (Joshua 7: 7)    Woe is me, my mother, that thou hast borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth!  I have neither lent on usury, nor men have lent to me on usury; yet every one of them does curse me.  (Jeremiah 15: 10)    And He said unto them, What manner of communications are these that you have one to another, as ye walk, and are sad?  (Luke 24: 17)

We have all asked God “Why?”  Why are things happening this way, why are they happening at all?  What have I done to deserve this?  For example, Olive has to eat her apples and yams for the nutrition they provide her growing body.  She may very well be pondering why not donuts and coffee, or for that matter, why eat at all?  As Olive relies on her parents’ wisdom, God’s Word tells us to trust in Him alone (1 Corinthians 1: 8-10, 1 Timothy 4: 10).

We all tend to plan and predict that this or that is going to happen in our life and in the world about us, but we forget to make room for God’s ability, His sovereignty, and His ultimate plans for all mankind.  He most likely will not reveal Himself at your timing or in the way you think He should; however, He will show up in His “perfect timing” and according to His eternal and perfect plan.

Give God room to maneuvre in your life; trust Him to know what is best in all your situations.  He sees the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46: 10; Revelation 1: 8; 22: 13)!
