Battle for Life
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you (Luke 10: 19). And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour (Matthew 8: 13).
One of the Japanese meanings for Yoshi (my dog) is Righteous. On our early morning walk today, Yoshi encountered his first snake, most likely a Copperhead. I thought of Jesus who is our righteousness (Romans 10: 4) and that IN Him we have COMPLETE BLOOD BOUGHT VICTORY over that old serpent, Satan. When we are confronted with temptations, sickness (body, mind, spirit), or any other attack in life and we call on Jesus to HELP us; to the degree we BELIEVE Him (and what He tells us in His Word regarding our situation) it WILL be done! Praise God, what a Savior!
The Lord would say: Beware of Satan’s subtle maneuvers. The more you know, the more subtle his disguises and deceptions. Be not shaken in your mind, nor troubled, neither by spirit nor by word. Let no one oppose or deceive you. Stand fast. Hold on to the principles you have been taught. I, the Lord, shall consume wickedness with the spirit of My mouth. Go forth, and let your prayer and song of praise go before you. Trust Me. Do not be pressed or rushed for I shall keep you from all evil. I am God of resurrection and life.

I believe God will use this type of ministry in many other countries around the world to help end global hunger and the significant reprecussions surrounding the issues of poverty. Prayer Requests for the Honduras Project, Week of November 1.
1) M in Tierra Blanca is a new contact. Pray that studies will get started with him.
2) Pray that a Person Of Peace will be found in the village of Horcancito
3) That all obstacles would be removed for R and A to start studies on the next visit by the church planter.
4) Pray that O in Tierra Blanca will start studies.
5) Pray for M in Capuca that God would heal her. Something is wrong with her stomach. It is thought that someone has done witchcraft against her.
6)L needs healing. He has seizures.
7) G in Gualtaya is very sick and needs healing. She is an elderly lady.
8) A needs healing.
9) Mario has started a new study in Tocoa. He found a house right away and got moved so that is a praise report. Pray for this new study that God would illuminate their hearts and minds.
10) E needs healing for her arm.
11) Pray that Mario will make more contacts in the Tocoa area and finds lots of Persons Of Peace.
12) Some groups stopped meeting when some persecution began. Pray that these will be recovered and that the people involved will courageously take a stand. This is in the area where Oscar and Carlos are working.
13) That God would give encourage Oscar and Carlos.
14) That the Lord would help Oscar learn to drive and operate a motorcycle.
15) Pray for the DBS in Barranco that they would pay more attention to the studies and the DBS in San Samaritano that they would leave religious traditions and focus on obeying the Word of the Lord.
16)PRAISE REPORT!!! JUANITA JUST HEARD TODAY THAT HER VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED!!! PRAY THAT THERE WILL BE NO DIFFICULTIES IN THE LAST STAGES, INCLUDING A TRIP TO TEGUCIGALPA TO PICK UP THE VISA ON WEDNESDAY.
17) Linda Travis has been sick now for several days with the flu or a bad cold. Pray for her healing.

To know is one thing, but to believe is totally different, Many people know the Word of god, but don’t believe what it says. Knowing is head knowledge and believing comes from the heart.
Wigglesworth is one who read and practiced the Word. He said “if the Word says it then I believe it, and it’s so”
This ordinary man did mighty miracles, in and through the power of the Holy Spirit, because he simply believed what the word said, God used him to raise some 20 people from the dead, because He believed the Word.
There is a man named Paul Hogan, who also was an ordinary man like us and God is using him, with many signs and wonders following him, as the Apostle Paul did in his day. Casting out demons, healing the sick and raising the dead, as the Word says.
Do you know the Word of God, or are you a believer and doer of the Word, Walking and being lead by the Spirit of God, in Jesus Name

Ken, you ask a very good question and it is something I have been recently seriously questioning in my own spiritual journey. I do believe I am learning the Word of God and I do believe in God; but I do not see myself as ‘fully believing God”. There are often times in my life where I turn to friends, books on encouragment, etc. when I should be FULLY LEANING FIRST and FOREMOST on WHAT HE TELLS ME IN HIS WORD (STANDING FAST AND RESTING COMPLETELY ON HIS WORD)! I am a reader and I really like to read about the pioneers in God; the ‘faithful few’ I call them, and my heart yearns to have a similar relationship with God. I also realize I am the one setting boundaries, not God. The very fact that I am questioning my position in my relationship with God at times, IS revealing God’s desire for me to “YIELD FULLY” unto Him as my SOURCE. Please pray for me and for all others who share this place with me. I KNOW God wants us trusting in Him alone. God bless you, brother.

There is a book by Andrew Murray called “the two Covenants, which I am reading and have read a couple times, which really reveals what Jesus did for us on the cross, so much more than just wiping away our sins, but brought us into such blessings and life abundantly, but for whatever reason sometimes we refuse to receive what IS ours, because of our relationship with Jesus. Maybe a feeling of unworthiness, but once one realizes that our worthiness is not for anything we have done, but all about Jesus and what He has done and is just ours to receive or not.
This revelation will change your life………….just receive in Jesus

Believe I have received, sometimes kind’a forget, but then I read a passage of His Word, or hear from family (in Christ) and He gets me back on track and focused. Thank you for being obedient and such a great ambassador in His service. 🙂 I am reminded of the passage in Romans where Paul acknowledges the warring between the law of his mind and the Living spirit indwelling him (Romans 7: 14-25). Praise God!

November 2, 2011. Today, I am going to my mountain to pray and seek the Lord for an upcoming “Miracle Service.” Without God, I can do nothing and have no more supernatural power than a fence post. My wife and children in years past have cheered me on when I go to the mountain. This morning, my wife blessed me to spend another day on the mountain. They say I always come home with something new from the Lord. This time I am seeking an infusion of supernatural power and wisdom. My Lord speaks from His mouth knowledge and understanding. Now, I pray for you that you too will hear and respond to His voice.

November 2, 2011. It was science that hindered me from receiving Jesus as My Savior and Lord. Now it is science, especially quantum physics, that is backing up many teachings found in the Bible. This is a great joy for me. Our next teachings on miracles in the Fullness Friday Revelation (Nov 11) is something I would have once hesitated doing. Now the studies I have done in quantum physics have given me an excitement about what will be happening. Jesus did miracles when He walked the earth. His miracles abound and His Presence is made perfect in the midst of darkness. I am reminded of Isaiah 55 as I read your news letter. I pray for continued blessings in all you are doing as unto Jesus; to the glory of our heavenly Father! I pray Psalm 91 over you, your family, and the minsitry you are doing.
The south of Israel is again facing rocket attacks from Gaza
We had some very intense and nightmarish days this past week and beginning of this week, when again the southern cities of Israel became the target of advanced rocket attacks from Gaza.
While there were no physical casualties when the attack first started, tens of thousands of Israeli civilians endured the agony of blaring warning sirens that gave them only a few seconds to find shelter. Children especially are traumatized by lingering psychological after-effects from such attacks.

Large cities like Be’er Sheva, Ashkelon and Ashdod were specifically targeted mainly because of concentration of civilian population. Schools were immediately closed and remained close for several days, leaving more than 200,000 students at home. This decision may have saved children’s lives, as a local primary school in Ashdod received a direct hit from a rocket that was launched from Gaza.
The rocket hit an Ashdod school and caused extensive damage to countless buildings and homes in residential neighborhoods across the region. Twenty Israelis were hospitalized for shock and injury including a baby.

Even though it has been a reality we’ve been forced to live with, it’s still hard to get used to the sudden sound of an air-raid sirens, especially for children. They are now well trained and know that as soon as they hear the siren, they must go into bomb shelters and stay there for a while.
But us, who find ourselves on the road during a siren, are forced to pull over, exit the vehicle, head for a building or shelter, or if on a high way simply lie down on the ground facing down and shield our heads with hands.
The stressfulness of this situation is always taking its toll on all of us. It’s difficult to function and lead a normal life when you know that any minute, no matter where you are, a siren might go off and you will literally have no more than a few seconds to find shelter.

This latest rocket attack took its toll on an Ashkelon family of four who lost their father, Moshe Ami, who was killed in a rocket attack on his way home.

The air raid siren, which gives Ashkelon residents about 25 seconds to find cover, went off as Ami was driving home in the heart of the city. Unable to make it to the shelter in time, a piece of shrapnel from the rocket explosion struck Ami. He later died of his wounds in Ashkelon’s Barzilai Medical Center.

But in the midst of the terror and the darkness, the Lord has a way of making His light shine even brighter.
Our leaders, Eitan and Aviel along with their wives were invited by two ladies for lunch at their house. These women wanted to know more about the Messiah and Eitan and Aviel took the opportunity to share with the gospel.
Even as they were speaking, sirens went off and they had to go into shelter, where they continued preaching the gospel to them. While they were speaking, two more relatives of these ladies, who live next door, joined the conversation and were eager to hear about Yeshua.

By the time the sirens died down and they were coming out of shelter, all four women had received Yeshua as their Lord and Savior!
This is God’s work. The darker the hour, the brighter His glory shines forth!
Please pray for this current security situation, for God’s protection and divine appointments such as these, where we’ll be able to carry his light and knowledge of Messiah to everybody around us.

Here is a partial report about a special prayer request last week in Honduras. There was a meeting that had important implications for the spread of the gospel in a specific group. I asked for prayer for that meeting.
The Lord answered. The meeting happened and although not every thing was as perfect as possible, the result was that the hindrance to the spread of the gospel seems to have been surmounted. The group decided to go forward and the door is open for further multiplication. (To put it in perspective this particular group may have seen up to 178 new churches planted in the last 2 years and this meeting has opened the door to further multiplication!)

I like reading God’s Word about the early church and often find myself wondering what has happened to the church of today? It excites me to see how Holy Spirit moved among the disciples and how He anointed their preaching of the Gospel so that MANY were added to the church every day! Example: Acts 11: 21 tells us, And the Presence of the Lord was with them with power, so that a great number (learned) to believe (to adhere to and trust in and rely on the Lord) and turned and surrendered themselves to Him. and in verses 23, 24 Barnabus (in Antioch) saw and was filled with joy and he continuously exhorted (warned, urged, and encouraged) them all to cleave unto and remain faithful to and devoted to the Lord with (resolute and steady) purpose of heart. For he was a good man, full of and controlled by the Holy Spirit and full of faith. And a large company was added to the Lord (Amp).
There are some key words/points within these 2 verses and I encourage you, David and the team in Honduras, to CONTINUE heeding the direction Holy Spirit gives and you WILL SEE a LARGE COMPANY (in Honduras and surrounding areas) added to the Lord, in Jesus name. God bless you in your journey.
