Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. (James 1: 17)
Here we are, a New Year; thank You, LORD! Many people throughout history have marked this year as “cataclysmic”. It’s hard to even spell or pronounce this word, but the meaning of it is pretty clear: violent upheaval or disaster; great change.
For many, the actual meaning of this could be manifested in any one of our lives at any given moment. Let’s look at “upheaval” which means violent change or disruption. One of the meanings of disaster is, sudden, or great misfortune. CHANGE: making or becoming different, difference from previous state; substitution of one for another; variety or variation; make or become different.
Change is a fact of life. It can be on a personal or global level; it can be a positive or a negative experience; it can happen in a matter of seconds or can occur slowly, over many years. Most of us will probably look at any change from the perspective of how it will directly affect our life as it was before the event. A few will then look more globally to family, community, and country, etc. Whatever the change and no matter how you perceive the change; it WILL CHANGE your “comfort” level.
However, change also opens up the doors to NEW OPPORTUNITIES. The definition of the word OPPORTUNE is, well-chosen or especially favorable; well-timed. Opportunity is good chance, favorable occasion; chance or opening offered by circumstances (Oxford dictionary). WOW!!! This puts a whole NEW LIGHT on the year 2012, doesn’t it?
There are many passages in God’s Word where He tells us to “FEAR NOT.” Because He is ETERNAL, He KNEW/KNOWS right where we would be /are any given moment so we must CHOOSE whether we BELIEVE His written Word. According to the verse above (James 1: 17) He only gives good and perfect gifts to His joint-heirs and that fits right into the definition of opportunity, don’t you agree?
Well, as a few of you already know, God put two particular words into my spirit for 2012 that go along with the many opportunities He is going to provide for all who believe. The words are: PERSEVERE and FAITHFUL. It is a message for all of you in the body of Christ and I pray that it will speak to your spirit in a special way and bring you incredible PEACE as you face your moments of opportunity in 2012: “BECAUSE HE LIVES…http://youtu.be/dOZ6dQhGcCw“
The LORD would say unto you this day…
“Draw nearer to Me with a pure and sincere heart in full assurance of faith. Hold unswervingly to the Hope you profess that is according to all that I have revealed to you through My Word. These words are trustworthy and true. I am Faithful, I am True. Encourage one another, work and pray together in unity and with love, for the day is coming when your love for Me and for others will be greatly tried and tested. Stand your ground in the face of any suffering and persecution holding on and fixing your eyes on Me. I am your strength when you are weary. I will lighten your heart with peace and joy. It is by faith you will stand. Take heed to what I have told you for the hour has come for perseverance. Stay ready for Me, watch and pray! What I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”
I pray for God’s abundant BLESSING to be fulfilled in each of your lives and your ministry according to His “ETERNAL” plan, in Jesus name.

Receive new strength from the Lord as you step into this new year. No matter what disappointments or delays you have encountered during the past season, don’t give up. God brought you to this point, and He will not fail you now.

Resolutions That Matter
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust'” (Psalm 91:1-2).
Through the years I’ve attempted to make resolutions for the New Year. Most of them have failed. However, one that has lasted beyond January is my goal to have a closer daily walk with Christ. Year after year this resolution increases in priority.
Jesus has brought us to Himself and invites us to follow Him. Moreover, He calls us to abide in Him. I love how this is described in John 15 where Jesus tells us to remain or abide continually in Him. In abiding I will have an awareness of His presence, knowing He is near. I will have His influence in life issues through prayer and His Word. I will know enjoyment with Him as my Savior and friend. I can be His personal Ambassador in a needy world.
Will I fail to keep this resolution as with all the others that have faded over time? No doubt, I will. But the God who is my refuge and strength will never fail in His great resolve to redeem me from my sin and walk beside me each day of the year.

We start by wishing you and your entire family a happy new year 2012, let it be a year of your peace and may the Lord bless you richly. The school – ROYAL SAINTS SCHOOLS has officially opened all schools in the whole country opens, and even our school has open too today.
We has seen children coming inn, although they have not school uniform which they will have soon. We have no chairs and Tables and stationary for children in class, but we have no otherwise… school has to start.
Its like when the time of a mother to give birth to a child has come…no alternative we have to allow the baby to come out…so our baby is born today through your generous, financial sacrifice and prayers support that you standing with us. We appreciate so much for support you are giving and we will continue appreciation. We urgently pray chairs, Tables,and Stationary. The Education officers we will be coming to inspect the school as children has come now. Please, do not not keep silent, but keep standing with us as we pray to make these children future.

I am so thrilled to see the fruit of Pastor Joseph and Fridah’s vision for a primary school to be made available to the poorest of the poor in Nakuru, Kenya. By western standards it is probably not much but to understand the sacrifice these two people and their co-leaders and lay people have made is to be HIGHLY commended.
God WILL BLESS this school and the 160 children who fill these 4 small classrooms. He will BLESS those who have stepped up to teach, clean, cook, and deal with all the issues in the operation of a school. Beacuse of your FAITH (as a mustard seed)… Joseph and Fridah, in Jesus name, I declare that nothing shall be impossible for you as you continue to walk trusting in Him for all things!
I have prayed for this couple for a few years now and met them for the first time in 2010. They are faithful servants in God’s kingdom and lovingly sacrifice from what very little they have. It is a humbling experience to see what CAN be accomplished by those with nothing as compared to those who have been given much.
We (I say we, but perhaps it’s just me 🙂 ) are wondering what is going to happen (economically, politically, etc.) in the next year, two years, etc. BUT GOD says, “why do you worry…For I know what you have need of; I am your Source… seek Me first” (Matthew 25-34 paraphrased). So, if our brothers and sisters have a need that we are able to assist them in; DO IT!
I have personally experienced unique blessings (great favor) and experiences that only God could have accomplished for myself or my family when I have stepped forward in faith to help someone who has a need. I assure you, God ALWAYS shows up when we “pay the blessing forward.” You help someone like Joseph, a hungry child, a person needing a meal, a hug for someone, etc. and MOST OF THE TIME, that person will reach out to help someone else in some way!
God bless you, Joseph and Fridah! God bless all of you who serve with faifulness out of your love for the Master and others.

This thursday night I will travel back to Israel for a new season of living & working in His Kingdom.
God has been so incredible good to me, I am very thankful and do return with a refreshed mind and a heart full of expectation.
Greater things will be done! He is coming soon, so let’s get ready.
As I travel alone, please keep me in your prayers, especially the border passages can be difficult, let it be smooth and good!
My work-permit is released, which is such a blessing. As soon as I am back I will apply for the belonging visa to it. This gives me
half a year to stay, without any visa-run.

Honduras CPM PRAYER REQUESTS WEEK OF JAN 2, 2012
1) Pray for the study in Los Naranjos and the members of that study would start new studies.
2) Pray for a contact named I in the village of Cerro Negro. The team is attempting to start a new DBS there
3) Pray for the new contact in the village of La Esperancita. The team is wanting to start a DBS there.
4) Pray that a new DBS would start with M and family in the village of Tierra Blanca, Santa Barbara
5) Pray that team leader Daniel would have the correct words and precise timing to approach people about starting new DBS’s in the villages
6) Pray that God would help team leader Mario to explain to the group in the house of D what we are doing and the purposes of these DBS’s and who we are.
7) Pray for H in the village of Santa Cruz Alauca El Paraiso that studies will be started soon with his family
8) Pray that the family in Tres Cruces will make a decision to get baptized.
9) Pray for team member Jacobo’s Dad as he has a heart condition.

Brokenness to Blessing
“Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen.”
Scripture Focus: 2 Corinthians 6:3-10
Throughout the month we’ve seen ways that the Lord pours out His grace when hope seems lost. In the face of sickness, financial ruin, disappointment, confusion or fear, we learn there is no trial too difficult for the strong arm of the Lord. Many of you may even feel, as Paul did, that you are hard pressed, persecuted, and struck down (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). The depth of your pain may be impossible for anyone to understand. But the God who made you understands it all.
If He hadn’t reached out to us with the loving plan of the Savior, it would, indeed, be hard to know where to go next. But the words of Jesus Himself beckon us – all who are weary and burdened with the cares of the world – to come to Him. Lay your troubles at the feet of the One who bore our every problem and sin at Calvary. He made a way for us to confess with Paul that in having nothing, we possess everything. Giving up His life and holding onto nothing, Jesus holds you today and into eternity. Brokenness turns to blessing!
“Therefore, we do not lose heart” (2 corinthians 4:16a) because Jesus takes us through every trial, already knowing them Himself.

Happy New Year from our household to yours.
So, what’s new anyway in 2012?
A new leaf… a new chapter… a new season… a new day. Many are the hopeful expressions that accompany the changing of the calendar on our walls, but what is really new today? The reality is that apart from our expectations, not much has really changed on planet earth from the sunset of 12/31/2011 to the sunrise of 1/1/2012. In fact, the wisest of all mortals, King Solomon himself, confirmed long ago that “What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.” (ECC 1:9).
In reality, as 2012 rolls in, we still reap what we sow; we still battle the same foes we did yesterday; we still look at the same face in the mirror, only a year older; and we still hear the same hopeless verbiage coming from the media outlets day and night. So what good is there really to celebrate as the NEW Year dawns upon us? What can we, as children of God, truly rejoice in and broadcast to those around us as being genuinely NEW and good and praiseworthy?
While the Scripture talks much about NEW wine, a NEW song, the NEW covenant, a NEW heart and a NEW spirit, NEW tongues, a NEW commandment, NEW Jerusalem, and a NEW heaven and earth, there is only one thing that is biblically promised to be NEW every morning. Lamenting over Jerusalem’s destruction, Jeremiah still declared good news through his tears, crying out, “Beause of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lam 3:22-23).
So there you have it, the real NEWS worth celebrating each day as this NEW year dawns upon our weary land. The world around us is inevitably going to continue sliding into chaos, darkness and hopelessness, but for those who are in Messiah, God’s mercies and great compassions are truly NEW every morning!
So be blessed as you keep your eyes on Him, and Him only, during 2012.
